Hurst Farm Country Store is a charming, old-fashioned local family farm with beautiful grounds and country charm. It offers wonderful organic farming of the highest quality, with top shelf, fresh all organic produce. The store has a great selection including old time candies, handmade goods, salsas, jams, soaps, candles, and delicious pasta sauce. Seasonal offerings range from spring seedlings and fresh asparagus to autumn mulled cider by the wood stove. In late winter, visitors can see maple syrup production at the sugar house. The farm provides a weekly CSA filled with a variety of farm-fresh, seasonal bounty and customizable gift baskets with canned garden goodness and CT-made niceties, which can be delivered or shipped. The staff are really nice, helpful, and friendly, and the owners have immense integrity and care about treating customers well. It is a special, amazing place.
We live over 30 miles away, yet try to visit at least a couple times a season. Fair prices and friendly folks! The view is fantastic.

We were passing through the area and decided to pop in at Hurst Farm for the first time! We loved the farm kitty who greeted us on the way in. The store had a great selection of candy, homemade jams, unique gifts, and more. We also enjoyed visiting with the goats outside. Super cute spot!
