Two of my cats have cancer and they were able to make outstanding recommendations on supplements that could be given to help them as well as better food that they could eat. Not only has the staff added to the quality of life of my cats with their recommendations, but they have also provided my family hope. “I learned about Oma's Pride while attending a cat show about twelve years ago. Since I fed my cats raw diet, I was interested in quality ingredients, which the company has. I purchased the raw ingredients for my cats' food from them and added ingredients that rounded them out to a complete food for cats, which have different needs than dogs (I own both). Since I had been making my own raw diet for my cats, I decided to check them out.Oma's Pride has good quality food and, mostly, knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful staff. The food itself is excellent. Quality ingredients, well made, well presented. The food is not cheap, but I have no problem paying a proper price for good food.The food is excellent with fresh ingredients, nicely sourced, clearly labeled, well packed. Most recently, around Christmas of 2022, I was desperately trying to find nutritious food for a beloved and ailing pet. It was Christmas Eve, and the the store was closed. They heard what I was looking for, probably noticed my distress, and opened the store. And then they gave me the food (raw beef nuggets) and wished me a Merry Christmas.The quality of their food has always been excellent, and the owners and employees have always been pleasant and capable. Their opening their store on Christmas Eve to a distressed person with a sick pet went far beyond what I would have expected.You can't lose with their products. The quality and kindness of the people at Oma's Pride is an additional treat.”

“I brought my pup for a bath and a haircut at Petco of Avon for his scheduled time at 1:15. The young man at grooming immediately took him in, and we discussed how short he should go. He also wanted to see his most up to date Rabies vaccine. He said he would call me when he's ready in around three hours.So I went around town to do some errands. I got the call around 4:00 that he's ready and I could pick him up. I couldn't wait to see his fresh new summer haircut!I was so, so very embarrassed with what the groomer told me. He said they couldn't cut around his face, he was way too aggressive. He really isn't an aggressive dog at all. He's had most of his teeth removed, so couldn't be aggressive by biting.I thought they did a great job on his body, and he smelled so fresh and clean. His head was a bit uneven because he was wiggly. They didn't charge me for this haircut, that was pretty embarrassing too, they worked on him for a long time. They didn't even want to accept my tip. I truly appreciate their honesty and their hard work. I'm going to work on fixing the unevenness my self.I recommended Petco of Avon even if I won't be returning here. They are hard working and honest. If your pup could sit still it'll be so much easier for everyone.”

“We had a great experience this morning at Petco in Avon. Took our 2 doggos in for nail trims and Erica took them in and did a phenomenal job. Our usually anxious long-haired mini dachshund was the perfect student. Erica was very pleased with how she behaved, as were we. And our rescue mountain cur also did very well. Would absolutely recommend this store and Erica!!”
