Brian Oliver cares about his patients. I had a bad case of Vertigo and he did all he could to alleviate my symptoms. No more Vertigo. I highly recommend this practice!!

I was referred to Select Physical Therapy by my physician for vertigo. I schedulde a 2pm appointment in the Avon office yesterday with Brian. I completed all paperwork online & arrived at my appointment 15 minutes earlier. The receptionist was welcoming and pleasant. I observed the PT - Brian - who was to see me at 2pm, opening boxes, talking with colleagues and then interacting with a person identified as an intern while I waited in the reception area (one could hear their conversation from the reception area). At 2:05pm, I asked the receptionist when I would be seen and she apologized for the delay. At 2:10, I ponted out that I had other appointments that day and if I was not seen by 2:15pm I would leave. She apologized again and walked over to where Brian was sitting to let him know I was waiting. He never made eye contact with me, apparently dismissde the receptionist's efforts and continued to talk with the intern. At 2:15pm, I told the receptionist I was leaving and walked over to Brian. I told him that I had been his 2pm appointment and had been waiting in reception for 30 minutes. I pointed out that my time was also valuable and that I found his behavior towards a patient (me) inappropriate and inexcusable. I pointed out that I had been a practice manager as a career and that (1) patients come first and (2) if he had worked for me - I would have fired him for such behavior toward patients. I told him that I would be leaving a meegative review online and that I did not expect to be billed for the "non-appointment". I left the office. While the other medical professionals in the Avon office may be competent - I would not advise patients to seek care from the thoroughly unprofessional Brian.

Last year I went to Select Therapy for therapy after a wrist fracture. Jeremy was my therapist. His professionalism and help with actually retraining my wrist to be able to hold heavier objects and be able to use my hand and wrist efficiently was amazing.Then I required some balance therapy with Cody. Again his professionalism and knowledge helped me immensely in learning how to improve my balance.Cody not only helped my balance but encouraged me to have more confidence in my ability to do things I was to afraid to due due to fear of falling.Jeremy and Cody have not only helped me but now I consider them a very important part of my life. I’ve “adopted” them.Everyone from front desk receptionist to therapists and owner have shown such professionalism and compassion.Anybody who needs any type of therapy I HIGHLY recommend this group of exceptional therapists. I would not go anywhere else.

The quality of care and knowledge of the staff is exceptional. I have complete trust in working with these people that I will get the help and results I need with my therapy. My doctor's trust in this service was spot on. Your care and needs with Select Physical Therapy are individualized and carried out with openness, respect, and consideration for whatever you're needs require. The atmosphere is focused and caring, and I am truly impressed with all I was able to achieve. These people are incredible!

I was referred to Select Physical Therapy in Avon, Ct for my vertigo by my general practicioner. I was in rough shape when I first met Jenn. The vertigo was debilitating and I could barely function with daily activities. Jenn was so reassuring, patient, and kind. She is incredibly experienced with vertigo, and was confident she could help. With daily physical therapy, within a week the vertigo was gone. I can't thank Jenn enough for her help, her kindness and patience really put me at ease. It was such a difficult few weeks, and she made me feel that it was okay and I would get better. We joked that we hoped we would never have to see each other again, but I am reassured by the fact that if the vertigo does come back that Jenn will know exactly what to do.
