Asked postal worker if they could just weigh a package for a prepaid label because my scale at home said it was 0.1 ounces overweight and wasn't sure if their scale would also show the same. Worker scanned package anyway and when I told that her that I am going to get charged an additional $6 for the label to get rounded up to 2lbs instead of just letting me reduce some of the packing material, she responded with "Well, it's just my job to weigh and scan the package."So, three stars for doing the bare minimum.

I can't say enough about the wonderful service this USPS offers. In addition to cheerful, accommodating, knowledgeable employees who solve every problem efficiently, there is also easy parking. And they also take UPS packages.

This is a very cute post office located a bit off the main street of Bantam, CT. I'm not sure how long it's been here, but is located in the building I think may be the old town hall. Parking is ample, plus they have several spots for 10 minute parking right in front of the door. There is a drive up mailbox for drop offs (all post offices should have a drive up mailbox....), and a nice postal store inside for stamps and boxes. The interior looks older, how I remember post offices in the 1980s, but also has several cool displays in Bantam's past. I had no idea they were at risk of being called "Rogersvilles" but why.... and why?!? I want to know more. There is also a take a book, leave a book basket inside the lobby.

Love this post office the staff is super friendly and they always have everything you need and when you need help they're always right there
