Aerie Mountain is a fantastic little shop! They have the most amazing handmade soap; it always smells so good and is great for my eczema. She has gorgeous hand-painted scarves, clay coffee mugs, funky jewelry, metal lanterns, and some beautiful glass ornaments. It's always my go-to for a unique, affordable gift. In the summer, she has beautiful hanging baskets and the best tomato varieties. I was in today for wreaths and kissing balls, and they look stunning and always last through the whole winter. Roxann knows so much about plants, which is great because I am a novice and she always has helpful tips for growing the happiest, healthiest plants. I love that they don't use pesticides and they avoid plastics. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

The kindest, most creative, and decent shop owner I have ever met. As for the 2 star comment... if she did not have time for you buddy (and your significant other) then she did not have time for you. I'm sure there was a legitimate reason. I only wish she would bring back some of her homemade maple syrup... her darker syrup was so good even a diabetic would eat it.

We had just moved to the area and noticed this cute little shop along the highway and stopped in. I had been using this shop for a good 6 months with no issues until one day my significant other and myself stopped in to ask for an ample amount of ground covers and to ask if she can guide us in what else we can use to cover a decent area in our front yard. She stated she had no time to sit with us through thousands of flowers that she was busy. That I should drive around and see what I like. And well, that was it for us. We won't be coming here anymore. How can the customer be told that there is no time for them because the store owner is busy with other things? Well, obviously she doesn't need our business and that's fine with us. Our name was written in her book to give us a call on pricing on ground covers. It is now almost winter and still no call back. But no need. We went to Warner nursery in Simsbury and they took care of us. We were out within the hour. They sat with us for as long as we needed. In the end we walked out with a large order of ground cover and other flowers. It's her business loss, not mine. At any rate, perhaps better manners in the future . WE, the customer feed your business so learn to be polite and take care of the customer!

Eclectic storefront full of locally produced odds and ends, bits and bobs so enchanting you cannot help but look around the next corner for what you may find next. Roxanne, the owner, is a delight to speak with and always has a story to share about her latest passion. Such as... Silverwork, enamels, rings, stones, native music or lore, fairie homes, handmade soaps, scented oils, cut flowers, kiln-work, garden plants, garden design and more. Whenever I am in the area I always stop in to see what magic I might see and take home with me, I highly encourage you to stop in when you can as well!
