214 W Main St, Avon“Fan favorite spot with knowledgeable staff. Occasional big box discounts like cases of Josh with rebates, etc. but also good for reasonable trying new bottles such as Cherry Pie Pinot. For $20 out the door you can have something nice you never knew about! Honestly just can be a real pain getting in and out of the parking lot, sometimes dangerous off of route 44.”
“Had a wonderful time taste testing wines and eating a delicious charcuterie board! What a different and fun way to spend ladies night with my girlfriends! Beth was an absolute delight as she informed us about all the different wines we were tasting! I would highly recommend booking an event at Wine, Etc.!”
“Located across from Cake Gypsy, Uncork and Unwind has small square footage but huge impact. They have a lot, mostly wines, but by all sorts of genres. The wines in the window by color are beautiful. They also have cute gift sets for sale, like a nip of Jim Bean to go with a root beer. There is something everywhere you look, so when you get tired of looking at alcohol there's drink recipes by the craft beer! The cashier was friendly, and ready to help me find what I was looking for. When I didn't know what that was, she let me look in peace. It is a small floor space though, so watch your purses to make sure nothing gets knocked over!”
“Great selection and great prices!I forgot to ask the gentleman name that was working here but he was SUPER FRIENDLY AND NICE I have never seen someone so friendly like himInside of place was nice and just overall good experience!”
“Good vibe for a package store and not shady, seedy, or anything! Places like this really make me want to support local more than places like total wine, etc solid selection of wine and spirits (all good stuff)”
“No one has the breadth of knowledge (and patience with indecisive customers…like us?) than G. Willing to order in anything requested at a heartbeat, and the in-store inventory is varied and carefully selected. This IS our store.”

332 W Main St, Avon“Wine wine wine - calling all wine lovers there's something here for ANYONES budget! All good and have come here dozens of times for gifts, wine clubs, and even notice they hold educational classes here and will order you specific items upon request. Special (more expensive) wines upstairs for more special occasions!”

70 E Main St, Avon“What a great selection of wine and a tremendous value! We loved each of the bottles we've tried so far (we ordered the mix of 15). We're not wine connoisseurs but I'd definitely recommend.”

144 Simsbury Rd, Avon“They have an extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff, combined with a great inventory. It's a wonderful place to shop for new wines, and they often have tastings.”
“I have used Southwick Package exclusively for over a decade! They have the best variety of quality crafted drinks in the area. Clean and friendly atmosphere that feels like family. Highly recommend for connoisseurs of all types of alcoholic beverages.”
“Just moved here from Boston and this is my 'go-to' liquor store in my new hometown. This store is the best. The owner is a really nice guy. They always add new and interesting brands to their inventory. Always well stocked. Frequent sponsored tastings too.”
“Nice package store with a convenient location, standard options inside with a nice variety of many go-to wine and spirits, including your run of the mill selections and large name brands. One nice thing is they started carrying Litchfield Distillery cocktails in a can. You can also grab a pack of beer with your pizza if you get to-go from Pizzeria Da Vinci next door too.”
“Was visiting in canton found the local package store it was very nice experience because they had different varieties in bourbon and whiskey and i found the one which i was looking for and i would suggest people to visit this store when they are visiting to canton”
“Oh man, I don't know why I haven't been in here before. I came looking for something specific that's a little hard to find and ended up finding that and some other nice surprises. I was super excited to see Foxon Park Thimble Island Brewery hard sodas all the way in Simsbury! I've been wanting to pick some up in the Branford/ East Haven area but it's such a long drive and package stores sell out fast. Also found the Smash on the Beach drinks I was looking for, hard Sunny D, and New England blueberry cider which is also hard to find sometimes. I'm not a heavy drinker but I felt like a kid in a candy store lol.”
“Went in looking for a bottle of wine as a gift. The woman at the desk made a great recommendation AND gift-wrapped the bottle. They have 20+ colors of ribbons. Amazing. Great place to stop and get a gift.”
“West Street Wines & Spirits has everything you need from a great wine selection, craft beers & your choice of spirits. If they don't have something you like, they'll find it! Very friendly.”

8 Mill Pond Dr, Granby“Owner and employees are all so very friendly and welcoming. They always have a wide selection with great prices. Cute gift ideas and fun tastinging events! If there is something you are looking for and they do not have it just ask and they will order it for you.”
“This is a no frills package store but it's conveniently located for locals using this plaza. It pretty much has everything you'd need in terms of spirits. Large cooler of domestic, imported and microbrew beers, hard liquors, and bottled wines. Every package store has something others don't and this one has its share of hidden gems which puts it on my go to list for certain liqueurs or brands. The best thing about Marandino Spirits is its good natured permittee, Vipin. If something you buy regularly is out of stock or not being delivered, he'll call the distributor or commissioner until he gets it back in on a regular basis.”
“Ordered appetizers of onion rings and calamari. It was so delicious I didn't even. Snap a pic! It was literally inhaled. For the main course I ordered the Cobb salad with a add on protein. I choose steak rare. It was to die for!Dietary restrictions: They are very open to changes and questions asked about ingredients.Parking: Lots of parking . Regular and handicap.Kid-friendliness: Had a well rounded child menuWheelchair accessibility: I was able to use the rear entrance opened by staff that was right near the handicap parking. Which was awesome since my dining companion was elderly and handicapped. The bar area though does have a small flight of stairs up. It does have a hand rail if your ambulatory. There are tables on the first floor available if wheel chair use is required. You are by the pool table, awesome basketball score shooter and other games.”
“Part of the Petals and Paws complex which includes the Canton Creamery in addition to pet and garden supplies, this was our first time visiting here after eating lunch across the street. Good sized inventory. We went in because searching online for a particular label that's been hard to get for awhile, their store came up as somewhere nearby who carried it. They didn't have it but we bought some good import wines on sale. They keep their "nips" in a locked glass case which was different. Never bought one, but apparently many people do since I see the little empty bottles everywhere as well as people purchasing them. Lots of oversized promotional objects around for visuals. Cases of cold spiked water and ice tea, beer and bottles of wine.”

9 Bank St, Granby“This place is small but carries a great selection. The Store manager Trent is the nicest man you would ever meet. Been going here for about 6 years. Always a perfect encounter. I'd give 6 stars if I could.”
“Prices are decent here, the variety / quantity you have to choose from though is awesome. Staff are friendly here.Rather exotic goods here like pickles pickled in moonshine, peaches soaked in moonshine, interesting cheeses. For the size, it's definitely a very impressive place I must say.If you're a Simsbury local, no need to drive out of town when you have all what you'd want here.”
“Ken's is located where Kay-Bee Toy Store used to be, randomly on a quiet road to the airport. It's next to a feed store, and parking never seems to be a problem. It is surprisingly huge inside! I'm not sure what I expected, but it goes on and on. It's well lit, with lots of space to move about (nice ambiance if you have an unwieldy purse). There are lots of displays for different kinds of liquor, as well as space for beer and wine. The prices are pretty reasonable with the area, and offer a good range. For example, you'll easily find a low cost bottle of wine, but you can also find something to gift at a higher price point. All the popular liquors are present and accounted for, and there are adorable minis up front! The cashier was friendly and offered his assistance as needed.”
