Our third time using Colonial to help us move and another awesome experience. They are efficient, move so fast to load stuff up and unload, and really take care of our furniture and belongings. And the guys are great. Highly recommend! Hope I don’t have to move a 4th time, but if we do we will definitely be calling Colonial.

I cannot recommend Colonial Mover enough! They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The team was fast, efficient, and incredibly professional, making the entire moving process so smooth. Their pricing was extremely reasonable—much more affordable than other companies I looked into, yet the quality of service was outstanding.
The crew was friendly, hardworking, and a pleasure to work with. If you’re looking for a stress-free move at a great price, Colonial Mover is the way to go! Five stars all the way!

They picked up my house items in a substitute truck I was never told about which the boxes are loaded on to and switched to another tract trailer a few weeks later with an extra cost of 300.00 that i was never told about . Spoke with the owner Tim who was nasty and rude on the phone claiming if I didn’t agree then they would not pick up. I spoke to Tim prior to him picking up every few days he was telling me I’m leaving Monday or tomorrow and he did that at least 5 times once they had my household items.They picked up on Wednesday the 23rd and things arrived Nov 10th which is not what was stated in the contract or the phone booking conversation which Brandon did. Some of the inventory was broken once arrived and forget the glass boxes mostly broken … The boxes looked like they were throw down a hill with visible fold in’s and some boxes partly opened due to how the were packed in the truck . I called to report the broken items which some were sentimental from love ones who passed that i cannot get back are gone.The bookie Brandon answers and states call Tim he will discuss that with you , I did finally days after he calls and he states you can’t file any report because we would to have packed it and that was the response… terrible company to use trust me.

Nicest group of gentlemen!
We had called around for movers - no one beats this group of people. They answered the phone and gave me a quote right away.
When it was our moving day- it rained and I called to ask if they could come a little later so the rain can pass. They were so accommodating! I really appreciate it 🙏.
A shout out and appreciation to Willie, Allen, and Eddy! This is our forever home but if we need to move again. We will definitely use them as our movers!

We recently used Colonial Movers for our big move, and I can’t say enough great things about the experience! Moving a home for a family of five, with way more belongings than I could have imagined, felt overwhelming at first, but the team made it a seamless process. This was our first time using movers, and it was worth every penny.
The team was incredibly efficient, organized, and worked tirelessly all day without stopping. They knew exactly how to handle our furniture with care, expertly moved everything, and even set up our beds and rebuilt items that needed reassembly. Their professionalism and attention to detail were top-notch, making a stressful day much easier.

My wife and I recently underwent both a local move and a long-distance move to Florida. After researching various options, we found Colonial Moving and Storage in Berlin, Connecticut, which appeared to meet our requirements. During our initial conversation, the team was very informative regarding both the local and long-distance moves, covering important details like timing and pricing.
I must say, the local crew was outstanding—professional and incredibly helpful. They even offered to assist us with loading our SUV, as we needed to take some personal items with us. The long-distance movers were equally impressive. When they arrived in Florida with our furniture, everything was in perfect condition—nothing was missing, and the crew was very professional and personable.
I cannot recommend Colonial Moving and Storage highly enough; they truly came through for us, even in the face of two hurricanes.

I cannot recommend them enough!! We got no-showed by our original moving company on the last day of our lease at our apartment. We called Colonial, and they were not only able to come the same day, but they were there in 1.5 hours from when I called. Tony and Jose were our movers and they were amazing! They were so kind and efficient, they completed our entire move in less than 3 hours. Best of all, Colonial was significantly more affordable than the original company we had booked. Definitely would use again.

We moved at the end of August. It was an in state move a couple of towns away. The quoted price to us was very competitive, 3 men and a medium size truck. The day arrived and they were here promptly. The movers were very courteous and efficient starting right away. They confirmed everything with us and were careful as they worked. Our new home just had the floors refinished and literally every wall painted. When they were done not a mark could be found anywhere. They were careful to confirm where every item was going.
Moving, even local, can be a traumatic experience and Colonial went out of their way to make it comfortable for us. Whatever your move, we cannot recommend Colonial Moving enough. Great pricing, excellent employees, and very professional. It would be a mistake not to check with them if you are planning a move. Call and ask for Brandon, he was great!

We hired Colonial to do our local move and James, Torray, and Ryan were excellent! They showed up earlier than expected which was great! They moved us out of one home and into the other in a timely and efficient manner, everything was in excellent shape, and they all had great attitudes! I would use them again for any move and highly recommend!

We hired Colonial Moving and Storage to move our daughter from CT to NC. Best decision ever so far. We had Ivan, Victor and Will as our packers and they did such a fabulous job that we requested them for the next day to pack her things into their truck. They were all friendly, professional and extremely careful with all her items. We found out that Ivan drives their trucks out of state so we requested him to be our driver. We look forward to them delivering her things to NC and am sure they will do an excellent job unpacking everything. I also got to meet Brandon (their customer rep whom my husband talked to and hired). It was really nice for him to show up and introduce himself. He was also very friendly and professional. I truly recommend them for your move in or out of state. So far it has been an amazing experience and worry free.

If you’re looking for a great moving company look no further. Very thankful we had James, T and Lester taking care of our move from CT to MA. They were without question experienced professionals who showed up on time and carefully and efficiently loaded and unloaded our belongings. Moving is stressful, Colonial Moving and Storage unloaded our stress that day too. Thank you Sal, James, T, and Lester for treating us so well!
