“First time in! The place bills itself as German but it’s defintely got a lot of Polish meats as well which was a really nice surprise. They also have a nice selection of steaks and the one I got was extremely flavorful and tender. I’ll be back!”
“We stopped at their display at The Terryville Fair. We had previously bought some at the Made in CT fair a couple weeks earlier at the Berlin Fairgrounds but hadn't eaten it yet. Tried quite a few free samples at the Terryville Fair before buying 3 different types. Mind you my experience with jerky is slim Jim's. Well, this stuff is miles, no galaxies above that. Holy cow, this jerky is out of this world. Not at all chewy and really melts in your mouth. I'll definitely be stopping in to their retail location on Southington.”
“Visited 11/23 got some product but salesroom was being renovated,revisited from TN.9/24 was stocking up to bring home pop told salesman in conversation about earlier trip and cost of shipping on earlier order As I checked out package was given found out later dried kielbasa sticks good business and found out later great product thank you”

“I have not shopped here in a while as I've moved to Texas but I heard about the fire and as horrible as it was im glad they rebuilt. I remember an older lady named Ann that used to work there that worked at the old Cheshire iga she knew my mom Dawn voos who died in February. She used to give kids coins so they could get a gumball. “I think this store is great. In a world where we’re charged out the nose for literally everything, I feel Aresco’s does my neighborhood a service by charging fair prices for their merchandise. The store is clean, well-organized, and has a good selection. Some people dump on Aresco’s because of the way it looks on the outside, but… the owner only has so much control over that.
I respect those rare gem businesses that don’t exploit the community in which they reside, so I figured I’d send some kind words their way. Thanks, Aresco’s!”

But the real reason I frequent Hall's so often: The deli counter is a local TREASURE. From the pre-made foods to made-to-order sandwiches, I've never ordered something I didn't love. If you haven't tried "Dave's Favorite" sandwich, you're missing out - go order it immediately and thank me later. The pasta salad is also incomparable. And my husband's personal trick: order a BEC breakfast sandwich with caramelized onions and chipotle mayo. No breakfast sandwich will ever compare.”

“Very well stocked Asian Middle East market. Fresh foods are not so great, selection, freshness, not good. But cans and bagged foods are awesome, and many items 5 not to be found in Big Y, StopnShop. Especially spices, beans, coffees, teas, and flavors. Frozen foods are great too, Turkish simit, falafel. They have a butcher, fresh meats, cut as you like. And dairy, lebneh, yogurts.Prices are not surprising for items you can't find elsewhere.Friendly folks help you out. It's not very crowded on weekdays. You have the place to yourself.Location is on busy highway, a business area, not very pretty. Go to stock up.”
