Literally so many things to do here! The museum has a great selection of things and it can be a great learning experience for young kids. They have many cute animals both inside and outside in the barn. Sometimes I take my little brother and we feed the goats and cow carrots, apples, and strawberries which they absolutely LOVEThey also have a nice trail next to the museum which is nice (I believe the longest route is a mile long) but when I went sometime in June there were SO many bugs. I don't think that is something that can be controlled so just make sure you bring bug spray! You will definitely need it.In the small kiddy park section with the butterfly garden and small pond they also have a little free library, so any children's books you might have but do not need you can donate there.

We got a family library pass to the museum. My kids loved it! There are two outdoor areas. One for farm animals and one side has a playground with several sand boxes, playsets, music makers, a picnic table. Indoors they have some small live animals and some stuffed animals on display. Theres a play area and thogh the inside is somewhat small its the perfect size for kids. Not too much to handle in a morning or afternoon. I'd definitely go again.

For $6/person, you and your kids get an afternoon of entertainment. They have nice farm animals a playground and other "touch" exhibits. Also, clean bathrooms in case they need to go before the trip home. Plus, Roger's Orchard is just a short drive away....in case you need to grab a few things on the way.

The place is lovely... its under some construction but its def worth the visit. I personally think the play area can use some new wood chips/mulch.i was displeased with the unfriendly staff. Specifically at the desk. Didnt greet just very dry and unwelcoming attitude NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. Maybe this person was having a bad day (if that was the case call out). its very disheartening when I encounter people who work at family places and aren't very family friendly. I could to on...Overall it's worth the trip.

My granddaughters love to go to Hungerford Nature center, and so do I. They love the playground, animals, indoor play areas. We have seen Hungerford being remodeled during this covid closure. It's remarkable what they have done in this short time! The employees have worked very hard during this time to rebuild almost everything outside. Can't wait to see it this week when it officially opens again. ❤

What a cute place .. my 3yr old loved it! Plenty of cool animals, birds, turtles, and a talking bird named Charlie. Only 3 dollar admission. Soooooo worth it, I had more fun than my 3yr old.
