“One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing Pavilion at Crystal Lake for our reception! We truly can’t say enough good things about our experience.
We worked with several staff members who were simply lovely and easy to talk to. Mary and Eddie were right alongside us on our big day. They made sure everything ran so seamlessly. They made sure we ate and even sent us home with meals so we wouldn’t have to cook the next day! They also made the space look absolutely beautiful. We also worked a lot with Lexi and Shannon on the days leading up to the wedding. They were amazing and helped with so much of the logistics and timeline!
Our planning process was extremely organized and streamlined. Whenever we had a question we received an answer quickly. I never felt stressed or lagging behind. Every decision we made was supported and made easy by those we worked with!
It’s been a few weeks since our wedding and we are still receiving so many compliments about the food, atmosphere, decorations, etc. I would not change a thing about our day and that’s because of the wonderful staff at the Pavilion who made the day so, so special!
We knew we wanted a space that provided plated dinners without feeling stuffy or like a traditional banquet hall. Pavilion on Crystal Lake absolutely DELIVERED and everything was simply perfect!”

“This dance studio is absolutely amazing. I had been looking for a studio for my daughter for over a year, but hadn’t heard back from several that I had reached out to. But when I contacted New Steps, I was contacted the same day by the owner, who gave me all the information I needed. The studio itself is beautiful and clean. All of the teachers are incredible, sweet, and energetic. I especially appreciate how they’ve helped my daughter feel comfortable despite some of her challenges with separation anxiety. I couldn’t be happier with New Steps!! I highly recommend it to everyone!!”

“I attended a friend's birthday party here. Wow! What a beautiful venue! The hall was large enough for 8 tables of 10 people with a roomy dance floor, a stage for the DJ and a bar. All of the food was excellent- the appetizers, the meal and the desserts were delicious and arranged beautifully! The ladies room was clean and had a long mirror so we could check ourselves out before returning back to the party.”
“I don't know why this place is labeled "equipment rental", as I believe it to be a banquet/party/ ceremony of any type facility. As it happens, we were there with family and friends, after a loved one's funeral service. The buffet food, bar and bartender, as well as the waitress and desserts were all outstanding.”

“Nice place to visit to see the views on the water, especially from the upper balcony. Good place to walk; the surrounding park is quite nice. Open outside day and night; last year I viewed and photographed a comet from there. I have only been inside once for a town-wide event. It is quite nice inside. I had no experience with the caterers. Clean bathrooms with exterior access. The location has a good kayak landing. Area is a no-wake zone and boaters do comply.”

“I think this is my new favorite East Coast course. Not that I've played them all, however after 10 years of USA golf course experience 100's of courses, this one in particular proved to have a Tour presence. I shot 92, but that was the most incredible 92 I've ever played.”

“I recently used this location for what was a reception of my sister and my new in-laws after a beautiful wedding ceremony this decent size location was utilized by my family and friends for just as beautiful celebration the location is conveniently in downtown New Britain Connecticut right off the highway before they're enough away so there's not a lot of traffic. I like that is located near a few restaurants and fast food locations so if you run out of food or someone doesn't like the food being served you can go grab you something else to eat is also quite a few adult beverage stores in the area so people can BYOB! They have a nice size kitchen where we were able to keep the food fresh and hot and also to serve the guests. I had a great time dancing all over the place and had a good amount of space to do so I was very tired for the couple days afterwards. As I was not responsible for the event I do not know the pricing or the quality of the customer service. I just know that the hall was clean and had a lot of space to hold a large crowd of people. I would utilize this space again for future events for sure.”

House was designed for Alfred Pope by his daughter Theodate Pope as a perfect space for his art work.
Every room is amazing and has been left in tact with the original art works. I loved the layout and furniture. I can imagine sleeping there in the cosy rooms
It is nice to be reminded that there was a time when some people would spend money on art versus splashing gold on everything and importing the most expensive marble.

Two weeks ago my son was married and had his function at the Wesleyan Barns with The Connecticut Wedding Group. We were floored at how wonderful everything was. The staff was extremely attentive from Eddie, the day of person, to the wait staff and bar servers the attention to detail was extraordinary. The ceremony by the water was lovely, the cocktail hour was fantastic, and the reception was over the top fabulous. Many of the guests are still talking about how great the food and the service was two weeks later. They say it is all about the experience...well our experience was worth 10 stars.”

“We go to this location quite a bit. We purchased the summer season pass which has already paid for itself. Two games and shoes are included in the pass which is more than enough. The check in staff are very friendly and the wait staff are also very nice. We go here with our teenager and her friend. It is always a nice time.”
