“Contacted Steck's to inquire about topsoil on Saturday 9/12. Outstanding topsoil was delivered on Monday, 9/14 and placed exactly where I requested despite proximity to overhead wires. Driver was a great guy, both skilled and professional. I am doing a front lawn renovation and many people have wanted to know where we scored such beautiful topsoil. We are sending them all your way! “It was a bit of a drive, but the walk through their greenhouses and arrays of outdoor foliage alone made the trip worth it. The staff are super friendly, and no matter what your looking for you'll surely find it here. I found a few things to bring home, but the Madagascar ocotillo and Euphorbia milii take the crown. I will absolutely make my way back in the future and would suggest others do the same”
“Great place to find all your gardening needs, per supplies, flowers and outdoor decorations. Just wander through the aisles and you'll find more than you need. Prices are reasonable, staff is courtesy and helpful. Parking is plenty and it is dog friendly!!

The food truck in the Home Depot parking lot in Danbury is an absolute hidden gem. We stopped by “real quick” and ended up talking about how good the food was the entire drive home. Fresh, flavorful, and made to order — you can tell they take pride in what they’re serving.
The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the service was friendly and fast. It’s the perfect reward after walking the aisles debating paint colors and power tools ?
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and skip the drive-thru — grab something from this truck instead. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re picking up “just one thing” from Home Depot! ?✨”
“The business model/attitude has gotten much worse. I can't stand when I am in the store during the day and you constantly get kicked out of an isle so they can move pallets up or bring down. This stocking activity was always done at night. Now you have to wait while they do it during the day. Today I tried to get to the pvc trim and this is what I found. Talk about a hazard!”
“I just LOVE this store! Whatever you do, find DEBBIE M.- a very helpful sales associate. I went to buy several ceiling fans and flush mounted lights and got lost in the lighting dept. Fortunately, I found Debbie M.!! She got an extra cart, found all the items I was looking for, and pushed the cart to the checkout area- and checked me out!!
