Wells Fargo is closing their Bethel CT branch which is disappointing. What is OUTRAGEOUS is that our contractual free safe deposit box as a benefit of our account terms has been cancelled unilaterally. Local bank management is powerless to do anything about this unfair policy change which they acknowledge has caused widespread concern for customers and within Wells Fargo local management. They promised to escalate my concerns - but advised me that senior management has no interest in customer concerns. They have also been disinterested in the fact that both security gates leading into the vault can be defeated and opened with a coat hanger which I pointed out 2 decades ago.

I rarely come to the bank. I do it all online. But when I do need to come here, they are very nice, but not always everything is going smooth.

I came in to make a withdrawal and it was quick and easy. Sharon helped me and she was pleasant and friendly. Idk why this branch has bad reviews, all I saw was friendly faces. Thanks for making my errands easy!

I just encountered the rudest bank teller in my 40+ years of banking in 5 states. When I got home, still hurt and fuming, I called the bank. I was told that the manager was out until Tuesday but I got a customer experience specialist (or something similar -- I don't recall his exact title). I let him know what happened. Instead of an apology, I was told that "everyone makes mistakes! I asked to have their manager call me on Tuesday. I hope that she has some customer service skills but it's academic. I'm calling their corporate office and they just lost my business. What a poor reflection of Wells Fargo and of Bethel. Too bad the local B of A branch closed. They were the nicest and most professional....

As always seems to be my experience with Wells Fargo, they have once again taken what should be any easy task and made it into something much more difficult. I only bank here because my accounts are linked to just about every part of my life. Otherwise, i would happily walk away. Thanks once again WF.

So I was really excited about the idea of expanding a side business I've been running for over a year and thought, "why not use the closest bank in town for my financial needs and maybe they can offer me some guidance regarding the area, finances, etc." I was directed towards one of their so called "financial advisors who specializes with small businesses". During my meeting with her, there were several quiet awkward moments. It was like I was pitching an idea for a beach to a whale. Her only concern seemed to be for me to open a checking acct which will now happily close. So after applying for an acct as well as a small business line of credit, the only thing they could offer such a small business, I was told she would get back to me in a few days with the results. Now I've gotten loans on the phone within half hours apart from each other from different institutions so this was odd to me. I don't only bank in one place and have experience with quite a few. I already felt like I wasted my day with this person. This was by far the worst experience I've had. I never got my call back. I called a week later and left a message and nothing. Finally I reached my so called financial advisor to which she responds "oh I was just about to call you." Riiiight. 2 weeks later? And so I ask "hey, so what are we looking at?" She gives me the awkward silence again and tells me, in the not so nice way, that they cannot help me. Silence again. No options, advice, nothing. "Ok, have a nice day!" Click. What kind of bank professional doesn't bother to keep a customer or advise on next steps in a way to keep my business? I'm ranting because I'm furious for wasting my time and energy at that place and I can't get that time back. Not to mention, I opened an acct just to turn around and close it. Thanks Wells Fargo and your wonderful financial advisor for ALL of the help... Or lack thereof.

Great and friendly staff, nice location with plenty of parking (in the back), very central to pretty much anything in Bethel (down town)
