paid for my dogs ear cytology test to find out what is causing his ear to be irritated and itchy. i was never called or updated on that cytology test and when i called them weeks later to see what was the result of it, they said the sample expires after 72 hours and id have to pay again to re test. this test was over 100$ and the fact i was never called to know the result of it is just robbery. wont be coming back.

Awesome place. They treat my girl with respect and compassion. Always very clear of what the costs are and even trimmed her nails at a routine visit. My go to care for my pup.

Unfortunately my experience with Bloomfield vet was extremely poor. The only reason I am giving it a 2 star is because the receptionist and vet tech were kind. We were relatively new to this practice, this was my second time going for my dog. Our visit consisted of two shots and checking a lump on my dogs thigh(which was most important) .. dr. Snyder felt the need to lecture me on how I am putting myself, due to being pregnant, and my toddler at risk by having my dog on the OPEN FARM RAWMIX food… that myself and toddler could get extremely sick if bacteria from the food somehow infected us.. and then felt it was appropriate to tell me that I’m also putting my toddler at risk by not having my dog on heart guard because if my dog gets heart worm and somehow my toddler touches something infected with it then he can rub his eye and lose his eye sight. After I was lectured about how I’m basically putting my family at risk for my choices w my dog, I asked okay so what about the lump on his hip. She replied “well it could be fatty tumor or cancer but keep an eye on it to see if it gets bigger”.. meanwhile the lump was already pretty big … she never offered to do more with it during that visit, as this was my main concern. Regardless , I am glad my 2 year old had no clue what was being said, because if he did he would prob leave fearing my dog would cause him to lose his eye sight. It was the most unprofessional way to educate someone and I will literally never go back to her.

I left this veterinary practice and when I called as a courtesy to let them know they didn’t even care to ask why. After 10 months of training my dog is still and anxious biting wreck. When I finally called and asked for medication the doctor blew me off for a week - didn’t have “time” to look at the file. Then a substitute doctor suggested I try a supplement my dog had been in for 3 months - guess he didn’t read the file either. Then said I had to see a behaviorist but the nearest one was at tufts - wrong again. After I switched vets I discovered that they also charged twice as much!

If it were possible, I would give minus startsI am a rescue, working to save dogs from being euthanized or being hunt by animals in rural areas of TexasWe are a nonprofit, and every $ we get goes back to save another dog.We are foster-based, so when needed, the foster takes the dog to the vet.Our boy went to Bloomfield Animal Hospital because he had diarrhea. Nothing special here. But the vet decided to do tests that total $760 without any real reason. This amount could save three additional dogsBecause of different reasons, we decided to take the dog from that foster for his safety. So to get the test results, we called the Bloomfield Animal Hospital but couldn't get anything. We've been lied to that only the vet can give results and that she's not in. They promised that we'd get a call from the vet in 3 days. We never happened. So I called again after four days. And the same lies again, the vet is not In, and I get a call next weekIt was so unprofessional to hide from me for some unknown reason. That same day I got a call from the same person I spoke with earlierShe said only the person who brought the dog could get the resultsI, trying to explain that it was my dog, a rescue dog, and she was only the foster, fell on def earsThe Bloomfield Animal Hospital has only one thing they care for. MONEYNO common sense whatsoever. No CompassionNO understandingThey can't be trusted as they lie in your face.I'd rather drive 5 hours to a vet that i respect and trust. Never again Bloomfield Animal Hospital. NEVER!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our dog likes them too. They are only allowing one person in with an animal and you still need to wear a mask right now
