Due to the high pressure sales techniques I came in to have an an alternator put in. They were claiming that I needed a new battery for them to test the alternator when that was not true when I had AAA do that already when they came and did roadside service for me and they advised me the alternator was bad and then I still had to go through the same thing. When I got to the store they constantly kept trying to tell me to buy a $250 battery from them to test the alternator. That was not good and if I was to buy the battery I could not return it to them. This is the worst place I get service at from Firestone. Is that the Bloomfield facility? This will be the last time I come there I also asked for the complete inspection and I have my tires rotated which they which they did not do until I advised them that they did not rotate the tires and I also wanted the front end alignment on redone which they claim on my work order that I refuse when I have lifetime alignment service

Guy at the main desk didn't know what he was talking about. Took 2 hours to change two tires. Tech tried to steal my branded valve stem covers. Had to drive my own car off the lift because no one there could drive stick. Tires were supposed to be filled to 35 psi, one was filled to 42 and the other was filled to 52.

I made an appointment for an oil change and had to wait over 3.hours for it to get done. Then afte telling me my battery needed to be replaced soon when I got to my car my car wouldn't start and I had to deal with replacing a battery that I was told still had life left in it.

The Bloomfield, CT Firestone went above and beyond my expectations. I am an independent woman living an hour away from both work and family and every time I get either a flat tire or engine issues, I panic while Firestone always makes time to service my car. Even if they need to keep the car overnight, I still trust the fact that they will receive the part to make my car properly run again. The manager pulled me in the mechanic/ technician area to show me how damaged my rotors were and showed me the filter so that I could decide if I wanted to move forward with their service. I appreciate the visual explanation of my car issues and this is what really confirms on going trust with Firestone Bloomfield, CT.

I've been a customer at this Firestone location for at least 8 years and they have always accommodated me - I am unable to leave my vehicle (I use a wheelchair and have an adaptive minivan). That being said, I also *call* to make an appointment, let them know exactly what services I need (this week it was 2 tires and an oil change). I DON'T use the online service for this very reason - I need to talk to a person so that they can accommodate me with notice.
Please keep in mind that the "they" people speak of, particularly in unpleasant situations, are HUMANS. This week was very hot, and when I dropped off my vehicle and asked how long it would take, I was told upfront that my service was going to take approx. 90 minutes but that since it was so hot in the garage (abiut 100 degrees, no A/C) that it might take longer so the techs wouldn't get heat stroke - apparently that happened the day before. Totally understandable, and it was all of 30-45 minutes longer. The price for my service matched the quoted price online. No surprises.

I have been going to that location since it opened over a decade ago. They have always been reasonable and informative. I never felt like they were trying to up sell, and I always got the best deal available.

On May 23, 2024 at 7:15am I dropped off my vehicle for a 10am appointment. I had made an appointment for an oil change and emissions testing. At 9:27am they called me and told me my truck water pump was leaking and needed to be replaced. They also said another part needed to be replaced behind the dashboard. We discussed price for all the work and they said the work will take between 3 and 4 hours. At 4:33pm they called me asking me if they could keep my truck until the next day because they couldn’t complete the work. I told them no, that I needed my truck. They said they would have to pull another technician to complete the work. At 4:58pm they called me and told me my truck was all set. When I arrived there I was told they didn’t install the water pump or fixed the issue behind the dashboard. They had my truck for 10 hours and didn’t complete the work while I was home all day without a vehicle. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I will not recommend your business.

Would do no stars if I could. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment and not even wasting your valuable time. I made an online appointment for an oil change at 10am on a Wednesday and went into the Firestone Bloomfield Ct location to find out that they don’t honor online appointments as actual appointments. I was told by an employee at the desk that if they can get to my car they would which was never expressed when I made an online appt. I waited 90 minutes asked for an update and they said they would most likely need it over night so I asked for my keys back and left. It’s 2024 everyone is making appointments online and an oil change should be an easy enough job to complete for a professional garage or mechanic. I was upset but before i was able to leave an employee at the counter offered to “reschedule” my appt to Friday at 10am. I thought okay things happen I’ll come back Friday and have everything taken care of for my car. I arrived 15 minutes early for my 10am appt and waited 5 hours with no calls or updates on my car so I physically go into the location for an update and they did not even touch or move my car. I asked for my keys back and left once again. 6.5 hours of waiting and many lies later I’m here writing this review. I’m extremely disappointed in the poor customer service and lack of transparency. Happily taking my business elsewhere and highly recommend you do the same after reading this.

Terrible experience. I made an appointment for 2 PM and when I got there they said they were running behind by two hours. I asked why they didn’t call me to reschedule . They had no response. Terrible customer service. Went to Valvoline and they did a magnificent job with no appointment. I will be a customer for life at Valvoline .

Initial call on a Saturday was to a very polite and friendly team member who stated that Firestone would be glad to fix or replace my flat tire. AAA TOOK 5 hrs to deliver my car to the store, which has since closed,but I was able to make an appointment on line and drop my keys in the drop box. Excellent service friendly knowledgeable staff
