This dealership presents a fascinating contrast: brilliant service department vs. underwhelming sales experience.The service department shines: Scheduling appointments was a breeze, the shuttle service is fantastic, and the customer service reps are friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt pressured to spend unnecessary money on repairs, which is a breath of fresh air in the car world. A true 5-star experience!However, my sales experience was a stark opposite. I felt belittled and profiled, like my business wasn't even welcome. Assumptions were made about my financial capabilities before any income or credit verification, and I was flat-out told I couldn't afford the car I was interested in. What's worse, no alternative options or suggestions were offered to help me achieve my purchase goals.It's important to remember that car sales shouldn't just be about closing a deal; it's about building long-term relationships. Providing guidance and understanding, even if a sale doesn't happen immediately, is key to fostering that bond and ultimately winning loyalty. A simple suggestion, a helpful "let's explore other options" approach, would have left a far more positive impression and potentially brought me back in the future.Overall, my impression is mixed. The service department deserves an enthusiastic thumbs-up, while the sales team needs a serious rethink on customer interaction and building trust. I hope they can bridge this gap, because with their top-notch service already in place, a welcoming and supportive sales approach could make this dealership truly exceptional.Rating: 3 out of 5 stars (potentially higher with improved sales interaction)

I just bought my new Honda HRV EX-L from Joanne Panzo at Brandfon Honda and I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had! For an entire year, she took my calls, patiently answering my questions and never, ever did a “hard sell”. Even when I was ready to make my purchase, she was patient and completely professional as I perused my car and model options and decided whether I’d purchase a certified used car or a new car. She and the managers offered a fair price, and I ended up purchasing a new 2024 Honda. I absolutely love it! It has such a smooth ride, it’s easy to drive, has superb safety features and an awesome package of features! Thank you, Joanne, from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend Joanne to anyone seeking to purchase a Honda!

I have bought several cars from branfon. My sales executive Joann and her team are very professional no pressure . Just bought a new car as usual the best. Thank you Joann. They do Not charge above msrp like the other dealers are doing !

I had my car towed into t this dealership on the 30th of Oct because of it being vandalized & one of the things I requested was that the seat to be detailed because of all the rain that came through the broken window, upon receiving my car back , I noticed that my flowers from my son’s, brother & dad funeral that I had placed above the dashboard in my car was gone …. Some of my son flowers have been there since my oldest funeral Nov 30 2020 & my baby son passed away 14 months later January 15 2022 my brother March 17 2022 & my dad June 09 2022 … I want answers of why would someone throw away something like that… you should of ask the customer before you throw anything away out of their car & on top off all that they never detail my car but charged my insurance for the job they claimed they did … I still have stains on my seat from a proteins shake that I spilled & if the job was done I wouldn’t see that … y’all wipe my car down & that was all … I reached out to them on Friday & was told the the manager was out of the office until Friday & too leave a voicemail & after doing so , so one from the dealership call me right back about my voicemail & told me he will find out my car & give me a car back by the end of the day & still haven’t heard anything… so I call this morning & received attitude by the woman that answered the phone….  you receive almost $7000 for the damage to my car & the  detail department threw my deceased son’s brother father flowers out from there funeral & never detail the inside of my car …. some things can’t be replaced… Just to be clear Frank was great… it’s the detail department & the rude lady that answers the phone & my the man that called me back… I think his name was Manuel but I could’ve wrong … I expect a callback & I will be emailed corporate with my complaint

I took my car for an oil change and it is supposed to include a wash, they washed the car a little on the outside and parked it saying it was ready, but they didn't bother to even dry it. I normally do this service in NY but I wanted to try here in CT, oh no! I'll go back to NY for this, they leave my car there like a baby! I think the person was only focused on selling me other services that the car doesn't need yet!

I leased my first car from here and was able to pick it up this past weekend. Joanne is the absolute best salesperson to work with! She is so helpful and supportive with the whole process. Joanne has helped me and also many of my family members purchase cars at Brandfon. She truly is the best and I cannot thank her enough!

As you can see from a previous review my daughter bought a used car from here a month ago.It’s been nothing but issues since she drove it off the lot.The hatch of the CRV wasn’t closing correctly so the agreement was they would fix it. They’ve had the car in twice and it’s still not fixed. Now the battery is no good.Very unhappy to see my daughter buy her first car from a dealership and be so unsatisfied.If you do consider buying a car there, bring your mechanic and don’t have high expectations.

Referred to see Joann by my boyfriend and his family… they’ve told me for months on months to go see her and I randomly walked in one day and walked out to pick the car up in three days. She listens and is up front honest… for my experiences elsewhere, you’d never find that. First car experience I haven’t walked away feeling any negative emotion from. 10/10 great people, service, and attitude. From being a sales manager elsewhere (and experiencing other dealers), I was hesitant knowing techniques people use to get people to buy thinking those would be used on me. They weren’t which made it more personal and a better experience not being pressured to look at something I wasn’t interested in. 100/100

I take my Honda here cause it's close. They are comprehensive and easy. I use them cause I feel I need s dealership in addition to a private mechanic. Ask for cost, well...it's a dealership.

My rating is based heavily on Carla, the only customer service agent I trust to work with regarding my 2017 Honda Civic! She is friendly, honest, and straightforward regarding the repairs needed on my car. I've had bad experiences with other reps here and felt like I was getting swindled. Like the time I came in with my 2007 Honda Civic, and they said my horn was working during my safety inspection. I ordered a new horn for my car during said visit. Ask/request Carla if you go to Brandfon for any car service!!

Not sure why the Honda brand allows places like this to marr it's reputation. ..We were so close to buying a car here and mostly Gary the financial advisor was the reason that we did not. On the first day we went to look at the car, we arrived 75 minutes prior to close and were told this was too late to let us test drive the car, which was stupid. We work normal hours and get out at 5pm, so for a dealership to be closed on Sundays, limited hours on Saturdays, and then not show cars on weeknights is totally dumb---do you want to sell a car or not? Apparently not. The 2nd day they did not want us to test drive because they only allow people with pre-existing car insurance to test drive cars. WOW! So if you are a first time car buyer or someone who has not had a car in a while, then you're out of luck! Because unless you go and buy insurance for the car you want to test drive, you can't drive any of their cars...OK! Apparently that is according to the owner who is 'very particular' and sounds like a complete moron. We almost left right then, so they made an exception for us. They brought the car over and apparently 'already safety tested it' and yet lugnuts were falling off the tires....SO not actually safe to drive is it!? It had other safety issues but the highly capable service dept refused to even look at those until we 'put a deposit down', which we did, and then they refused to look until we 'signed the purchase contract'...hmmmmm, not great customer service from people who couldn't tighten a lug nut. We still tried by putting a deposit on it and a couple of days later got a call from Gary the financial advisor who said that he had the loan info. Now Gary, who is very rude and bad at his job explained that he didn't actually run my credit and therefore was offering a very high interest rate for the loan. When I asked him REPEATEDLY to run my credit, he refused and said that 'it's already done and that's the offer'. He then explained to me how stupid I am for even needing a loan on a car that is under 20K. HEY GARY, NEWSFLASH BUDDY, YOU DON'T WORK AT A LAMBORGHINI DEALERSHIP, YOU WORK AT A HONDA DEALERSHIP. So if your employer is selling cars under 20K, then that means that you need to provide actual customer service to people who buy cars under 20K...get it? Honda is a family brand and I didn't need to hear some BS about Gary's classist biases, so I went to a different dealership and bought a better car at a better rate from much much nicer people! Bye bye Brandfon Honda.

They are quick and timely. Courteous, but a little subpar in terms of dealership “scammy service experience” They keep telling me I need brakes changed. I took the wheels apart and I still have 15-20k miles left on those bad boys.

Mysterious things happen in the repair area where customers are not allowed. I brought my CRV in for a part replacement, and they gave it back to me with that part replaced, but with new failures of three other parts that were fine when I brought it in. No explanation or apology from the Service Advisors; just a very expensive estimate to replace the parts that failed under their custody. Intervention by Corey Brandfon led them to do the right thing, replacing the parts at no cost to me. Number of stars reflect five for management, two for technicians, three for advisors.
