Carla is amazing! Had such a great time working with her to coordinate our storage needs. She went above and beyond to make this such a pleasant experience. If she’s not the one running the show here, she should be - she does it all with a great attitude and personality!

I can’t thank Carla enough for making this transition from a different company to Self Storage of Branford so seamless. She was very clear & very helpful. She knew exactly what i needed for what i was storing and made it happen with great communication. the facility is GREAT and the staff is even better.

This experience was amazing. Customer Service is everything!
I looked at a public storage unit and had planned to rent from them, but did not choose them because their customer service sucked. I was so disappointed and their rates were higher.
I chose Self Storage of Branford because Carla gave me an excellent experience. The rates were good and the facility was nice and clean. She went above and beyond to ensure my unit was nice and clean. There wasn’t much to do but she took a blower and blew out the little dust . This was the cherry on top!

If your apartment lease or closing doesn’t start until May 6 and your storage fee is due on April 30, please note that this company does not prorate fees. Be sure to read the fine print. While the facility itself is nice, I find that policy unfair. Additionally, I sent a message two weeks prior to removing my items from storage but did not receive a response. However, they will send multiple emails about payment. Unfortunately, they do not respond to consumer inquiries. For these reasons, I give it one star.

Self Storage of Branford is an amazing place. They are kind and will work with you if you encounter any type of hardship. The facility is clean, well managed, and friendly!!! Carla and Bob are a breeze to talk to and worked with me to resolve my issue quickly and with little effort from me!! They say “you get what you pay for”… It is absolutely true with Self Storage of Branford.

I have been using storage facilities for quite some time now and Self Storage of Branford is by far the best experience i have had with storage facilities. Carla and Bob are extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. I would not go to another storage facility as you will not get better storage facility managers than Carla and Bob!

Today is 12/7/23 I’m just now finding out that there was a break in at this location. Total of 12 units were broken into. The management wants to keep this a secret but refuse to help me resolve this issue.

Scam. The Pictures aren’t matched to the units properly. The computer of course wasn’t working when I was checking. Bob booked the wrong unit for my move in date and the prices they charge are a rip off. I called about a 7.5x10 and then proceeded to tell him what stuff I had. We decided to go with a bigger unit because the picture was wrong & I had way more stuff. Honestly I can’t remember her name but she wasn’t really organized either , she was nice but being stressed out and her being confused wasn’t settling. I got a refund immediately but I’ll never be back. Make sure you know exactly what your booking and ask tons of questions.
