I visited this location many times some of the younger employees are very stoic in their demeanor they barely interact and I wont use language as a reason. If I was to give my opinion it would be I am only here for a paycheck...NEXT...Sometimes they be watching the wrong individuals... I have dealt with the Store Mgr S...... she's very nice and I believe the other employee she's Asst Mgr or Supervisor not bad to work with sometimes she's a bit too serious hard to read whether to ask a question. The beauty department was having an event last Saturday 3:2:24 days not only was the due to the beauty shelves were almost empty not much products to choose from the Beaty Tech was late for work and was unenthusiastic about being there the entire experience left such a very poor taste and I decided I didn't want to spend my money anymore for this event. Due to the lack of products and the extreme tardiness of the employee I was over it and was almost late for my own work. I decided not to purchase from that department. Another issue with Walgreens even with the store location selected the prices shown for the store item online isn't honored in the store. In the store it's always higher or item isn't even available even though it shows available. It was very disappointing to have waste my time and energy. The lack of work ethic is very visible.

I went today for my scheduled appointment for my booster Covid shot when I got there the pharmacy was closed and there were no vaccines given out it would've been a nice idea if someone notified everyone that had an appointment

I was in the area and decided to stop in to get some items while I waited for my car to be fixed. I bought lotion from here (Nature's Beauty, doesn't have a plastic seal on the outside), when I got home I discovered that the product had been opened and was 3/4 full. Clearly the people who take returns at this store do not mark used goods before reselling them. I don't have time to drive out of my way the night before a snow storm to fix this. I am angry, but heed my warning, check everything, don't be in a rush to leave, because then you could be out some money. Luckily it was less than $10, but I am still disappointed.

DAVE THE PHARMACY MANAGER is a terrible pharmacist. he told me to go somewhere else if I didnt like the way he ran his pharmacy. He is a terrible pharmacist. He thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. Terrible attitude. I think there is something wrong with him.

I can't believe that there was only one person doing the cashier! The cashier person is very lazy and swiping the items very slowly. It pissed me off. I would do faster then her. She was taking her time while we built a long line. The other coworker just walking by us and never think to open another cashier. You guys are fucking stupid. I would never go there. Worst service I ever went to!!!!

I'm not sure what has happened to this pharmacy, but it used to be amazing. The staff are now very slow and lazy. They treat us like we owe them something. They are not friendly or welcoming. The tall lady in the evenings is not helpful not considerate. Stay away from this pharmacy! I would NOT recommend this pharmacy!

This has to be the WORST pharmacy customer service ever!! I have been coming here for many years and tonight was the last night I step foot in there. The tall, heavy set women at the pharmacy was completely rude and did not care at all about giving me information on how to go about my insurance company rejection. My sick daughter (strep throat) was sitting there extremely sick while this woman told me well, you'll just have to wait until tomorrow or something. I can't help you. Meanwhile I asked for the hard copy of the prescription back and took it to Walgreens off of ex.55 and they were extremely helpful and got my insurance through!!! They said they cannot believe that my daughter and I had to go through that for antibiotics when it's clear as day she needed to be home and resting. I am not done with this. I will be calling the manager and any other supervisor at that store.

I bought 2 google play gift cards for $300 for my friend and they didn't go through on his phone. I went to Walgreens and they said I couldn't get the money back and just to call the number on the back of the card. I called the number and they sent me an email confirming the cards were still active and that Walgreens should give me the entire $300 back. I went back to Walgreens and they were so very rude about how they couldn't refund my money and they couldn't help me what so ever. Please take this as an example that you should NEVER, NEVER buy gifts cards from Walgreens regardless the circumstances.

Came to this Walgreens to have one prescription filled and the waiting area had one person there. There was one pharmacist and two technicians on staff. The pharmacy technician stated my prescription would be filled in thirty minutes. When I called thirty minutes later to see if the prescription was ready the pharmacy technician stated it was not. In total I waited over an hour for one prescription to be filled! After waiting so long, I decided to pick up my prescription at the drive through window. The technician did not put my cash change under the lever, so when she opened the delivery window it fell all over the sidewalk. This location needs better trained technicians and more pharmacists on staff so customers are not left waiting so long!

I'm pretty sure the glowing reviewer was bribed or ignorant to the truth. Obviously everyone knows dave the pharmacy manager is a terrible, incompetent, and condescending person. He is rude and yells at customers, even over the phone. The whole pharmacy has a bad attitude and is rude to everyone. Just stay away if you don't want to deal with horrible customer service.

Went in with a friend. We each had trouble with our insurance covering a flu shot. We were taking up time, required extra work at each step. The young woman doing our intake was so patient and thorough. My friend and I decided to pay full cost and attempt to work it out with ins co. Dave, the pharmacy manager, agreed to 7 days to get it adjusted. Then we paid up and waited for our shot. In the very short wait we remembered GoodRx which gives discounts. So what did we do...went back for them to undo all their work and resubmit our requests with the discount. In other words...we were causing them a GREAT amount of work. Dave was amazing. He treated our transactions with a smile and support. This was my 3rd attempt at a flu shot. The first 2 stores were not at all helpful. The Branford Walgreens was outstanding! This will be my go to pharmacy from now on. Thank you!!!

In dealing with the pharmacy department, not only was the guy I spoke with on the phone very rude, he was short with me on the phone the next day and when I went to pick up my medication. The girl was really grumpy too, made me feel uncomfortable. Terrible pharmacy.

I'm not sure why I've become a person who reviews Walgreens, but here you go. This place is really really clean and I've never had a problem with anything, but the dude who works at the register in the afternoons is perhaps the spookiest man I have encountered, and his skills might be better served in a job not dealing with the public.
