We visited them this morning for my Roobi dog's annual check up and everything was calm and smooth as it always is. I love how they treat my pittie mix in every way. She is very anxious and is wildly more comfortable here than our previous vet experience, I almost don't even recognize her compared. I still hear her grumbling and mumbling when they take her to the back for tests, but she SCREAMS at other vets. Bone chilling stuff, but not at Spring Glen. They just have a way with space as much as touch. Our last vet was full of echos and metal, there was never enough traznadone, but this one is wooden and still and kind and slower, I wonder if she actually needs trazn (probably tbh so I just give it as usual). For example, while in a med exam room, I cannot hear the other rooms.. Im sure the animals can, but not in an overwhelming way that echos and shakes them.

Additionally, Ive recently found a stray kitty on my day to day that loves being living with Roobi and I. Kayla kindly talked me through what it looks like if a cat is in a heat, how to know if she is in trouble, tried to help me guess her age, and was very transparent about the price of keeping her in my household under their care!! She put my mind at ease to all of the random feedback I had been receiving. I have had Hobbit for about 6 months, without any response to lost pet ads, and was feeling worried about what to prioritize.

Getting this information about my found kitten Hobbit following a great check up with Roobi... after (shout out) DR MAGS AND HIS TEAM ❤️❤️❤️ pristinely removed my dog's MCT tumor slightly over a year ago (a tear currently is rolling down my right cheek)!!!!! ..was truly a wonderful morning!! I was even a little nervous to go, in the event there were more lumpis dumpis!!! ? None to be seen, and everything checked out. We are still watching as we do, but what a fantastic day at Spring Glen Vet!!

“After being told from my vet of many years that they couldn’t see my dog for a week, even though he had a pretty serious issue, I immediately called Veterinary Assoc of North Branford. They were extremely accommodating and willing to help. Gave me an appt for the next day. I was met with a friendly greeting and within minutes of my arrival, taken back to an exam room. The vet tech was also very friendly and showed genuine concern for my pup. The doctor came in soon after and was fantastic. She gave my pup a thorough exam, was very gentile with him, and overall I was very pleased with the service… I would highly recommend this vet… I’m so happy to have switched and know I won’t ever need to go elsewhere.
Their hours are extremely accommodating with emergency visits as well.”

“Dr. Alter, Angela and his team are the most charismatic, genuine, and compassionate staff I’ve experienced. Taking your fur babies to the vet is stressful enough, but they go above and beyond to ensure they provide the best care. My cat had constipation issues and they were hands on to show me the X-rays and provided a step-by-step plan to solve the problem. They listen, they care, and they help. They all knew my Aunt and would ask how she is doing and that was a BIG reason why I decided to make them my primary vet. Thank you to the staff for being the BEST experience I’ve ever had while taking my cat to the vet.”

“We love this vet! We switched over here from the VCA and received a tremendous upgrade in service for much less the cost. It's a very small vet, which means they don't have a fancy app or online chat, but this allows them to be familiar with you and your pet on a personal level. The Doctor is extremely well knowledgeable and experienced. She talks fast, but communicates everything! At the VCA they never explained to me what was going on with my pet, but the doctor here answers all my questions and explains all the options. She will always strive for the best option that gives you the best care for your pet at the most affordable option. And the staff is phenomenal! They are extremely kind and work with you if there is any issue. My oldest dog and I have traveled the country together, and I think this is both our favorite vet we've ever been to!”

“I’ve been going here to Dr Smidt with my shih zu Lyla. Lyla is a little hard to get used to because she’s very protective of me . The Dr. found that if they take her in another room where she can’t see me she is much better. The dr also gave me
medicine to calm her when going there and to her groomers. They all have so much patience with her and I really appreciate that. I would recommend this 100%”
