“I can’t say enough good things about Pet’s Friend Animal Hospital. I brought Donovan in with a serious tumor on his leg, and at the time I truly thought I might be losing him. Dr. Alter, Maria, and the rest of the staff were incredibly caring, compassionate, and attentive throughout everything.
I never felt like Donovan was just another patient to them. They treated him with so much kindness and concern that it genuinely felt like they were caring for him as if he were one of their own pets. They took his condition seriously, stayed on top of his care, and helped get him through a very scary situation.
Donovan is doing so much better now, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone at Pet’s Friend. When I first brought him there, I thought he was on the brink of death, and they saved him. Our primary vet clinic was closed on the weekends and Dr. Padilla and his group were able to take us in the following Sunday morning to look at our dog. “We love this vet! We switched over here from the VCA and received a tremendous upgrade in service for much less the cost. It's a very small vet, which means they don't have a fancy app or online chat, but this allows them to be familiar with you and your pet on a personal level. The Doctor is extremely well knowledgeable and experienced. She talks fast, but communicates everything! At the VCA they never explained to me what was going on with my pet, but the doctor here answers all my questions and explains all the options. She will always strive for the best option that gives you the best care for your pet at the most affordable option. And the staff is phenomenal! They are extremely kind and work with you if there is any issue. My oldest dog and I have traveled the country together, and I think this is both our favorite vet we've ever been to!”

“We've been long time patients (10 years +) at VCA Foxon with two dogs and a cat. My whole family uses VCA Foxon as well. Dr. Schmidt, Dr. Chadik and the their team of vet techs are absolutely INCREDIBLE! The staff has been consistent which is great for seeing familiar faces, getting to know them and seeing how much they truly care for the animals. Appointments are fairly easy to get, often being seen within a few days. One of my dogs has diabetes and needs very frequent appointments, and in office visits for testing which take all day. The staff has often brought her to the front desk to rest since she's an anxious one and I walk in to see her curled up at their feet, as she does at home. I've communicated with both Dr. Schmidt and Dr. Chadik extensively throughout the years. They are (1) incredibly kind humans, (2) very knowledgeable, even about more complex medical issues, (3) very communicative and responsive. All calls are answered in a timely manner and very thoroughly. They both take time to answers all your questions. When we took in a stray cat, the staff was incredibly helpful in educating me on being a cat mom. They were very patient when I called for ridiculous things and helped me get everything I needed to care for her. I couldn't ask for a better medical team to take care of my furbabies.”
