We have used Astro for five moves. Astro movers are trained professionals, courteous, friendly, careful, and thorough. I've been impressed with their expertise, their problem-solving attitude, and particularly their ability to manage pickups and drop-off in multiple location in one long day. The office staff is always friendly and accommodating. Will use them again.

Had a good experience for a local move. Tom came out and gave us the quote. Got a follow up a few days before confirming time, date and addresses. Crew of 3 did the move. Only got Don's name but all 3 worked hard. Went over the bill and how they calculated it. Efficient and would use again.

I was absolutely disappointed in Astro. I truly had high hopes with this company. My elderly dad was moving and Steve (nice guy) called me for quote, which I had a nice conversation with him and he even gave my dad an elderly discount, but the day of move NO ONE showed up. I was told Tom would call me prior to move, which I didn’t not receive. I should have known better when I didn’t hear from anyone regarding the move. I was given the excuse Tom was in Maine and didn’t read his text regarding this job. Move was scheduled for 9 am Monday morning by almost 10 am Steve called and apologized saying they can move my dad the next day. I know things can happen, but the lack of communication was unacceptable. The amount of stress that was put on my dad and myself was tremendous. We were forced to hire another company. Steve I’m sure you are all great guys, but Unfortunately I would not recommend Astros.

I hired this moving company to move into a new apartment because Steve and Tom sounded like great guys with great rates. What I forgot, is that you get what you pay for. They destroyed four different pieces of furniture and even laughed about breaking it in front of me. When I called the office and spoke to Tom/Steve, they took zero responsibility. 0/10, would not recommend unless you want to have all of your furniture broken. Remember, you get what you pay for.

After contacting the firm within 2 days of my move, they gave a fair estimate and proper expectations clearing out a storage space into a new home. The movers were professional, prompt, and diligent in getting the job done right!

Amazing and awesome! These guys are so strong and so fast! I am thrilled with how quickly they moved me from one 3 bedroom house to another!
Best prices in CT!! Excellent service not a scratch dink or dent or lousy attitude!
They were happy and professional the entire time!
What would have taken me a week they got done in 5 hours - 3 guys and a 26 ft truck

What a fantastic group of professionals!!!! From Tom, to his office team, to the gentlemen who moved my full size adjustable bed from the 1st floor to the finished attic. The fee I was charged was extremely reasonable. The men who moved the bed made the project look easy!!! Thank you for responding to my need!!!!!

I can't give Astro enough stars. They moved my parents not one but two times in six months, and were fantastic people to work with. It's a family-run business and they really care. Great attitudes, efficient, competitive pricing, went above and beyond to help with last-minute packing and special requests. We had a super steep driveway they had to park at the bottom of, and handled very heavy furniture no problem with a smile. When my parents had to move again on the coldest, snowiest day of the year, the guys were angels. And so, when I all of a sudden had a major problem I needed help with, I called Astro immediately. I had ordered a beautiful, expensive couch that couldn't fit through my narrow stairwell. Knew if anyone could do the seemingly impossible and get this couch in my apartment, it was these guys. They work serious spational reasoning miracles. So I called Astro, the daughter who helps run the business was wonderful and pulled strings, gave me a reasonable price, and got the guys to come the next morning. After a lot of deliberation and saying it couldn't be done, I'd have to return the couch, they ended up hoisting/pulling the couch on top of their truck and getting it through my back porch. I was so thrilled, and it all happened in less than 45 minutes. Worth every single penny. The only company I would ever want to do a move with in the future. Highly recommend.

Fantastic and affordable service! On time, professional, helpful and genuinely funny guys helped us move out of state. Got an entire house moved out into a new one in a total of 4 hours!

We were moving across town. They got to the house and said the driveway was too steep. I told them to park on the street and carry the boxes. They refused and left. So unprofessional. So rude. DO NOT USE ASTRO.

They broke the screen of a TV set - never responded to repeated requests regarding the broken TV. The worse moving company I have ever used - stay away!

Today, at 9am, contracted through another moving company (Moving Staffers), three movers from Astro Moving Inc. arrived at my new home. They started off very nicely- just kidding. Not only did they need to be asked twice to wear a mask, put on booties, not to smoke on my patio and not to drag the dolly directly through the mud and then into my house, but also, stop calling each other the N word. That was by far the most unacceptable, most disgusting and horrific thing about this move. After we overcame that hurdle, they were quite pleasant and seemed to be doing their job. However, they weren't putting things in the specific places that I asked them to, but said they just needed to unload everything and then they would take care of it. While unloading, they reminded me multiple times to "take care of them." I asked them to do me a favor and put one bed frame back together and they said, "If you take care of us well enough." I planned to do that anyway- I'm a generous tipper. Stupidly, I gave them $200 in the middle of the move hoping it would motivate them even more and they would assemble the very easy bed frame (no headboard or footboard). They happily took the money and seemed to be very grateful. While they were unpacking, I found damaged items- even a hole in a mattress. They said they would document it- how about being a little more careful??? They said just submit a claims form and didn't seem to care at all. At exactly 12pm, they said they needed to leave right away as they had another job. They never moved heavy boxes or furniture to their proper place/room, assembled the bed or even allowed the opportunity to do a walk through. They left 6 huge and heavy boxes in the garage that now need to go up the basement stairs and then up another set of stairs. I tried to chase them down and let them know the job was not nearly finished- we paid for the entire move, not by the hour. They quickly put out their cigarettes in my driveway and drove off. My house is a complete and utter disaster! Astro is doing nothing to make this right. I simply requested a new set of movers to come and finish the job. We are still in the process of going back and forth, which is ridiculous. I would NEVER EVER use this company if it was the last one on earth. I would rather strap the heavy items to my back and crawl. This is by far the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. Pathetic and literally repulsive.

So I picked this moving company because of the competitive pricing. When the movers came, they started moving stuff for about half an hour and took a break for 10 minutes (literally did not come into my unit for 10 min and they were chatting and drinking water downstairs). Then they decided to make this a two-trip move so it's "faster" and "easier" as we are moving to a very close by building. We instantly knew they were not going to aim for the minimum 2 hours. After 2 hours had passed, I found one of the workers not doing anything again outside the building to probably not end the move in time. I felt like I paid for 2.5 hrs worth of money for 1.5 hr work. When I saw them carrying two chairs after an hour had passed- I knew this was a wrong moving company to hire.
