“There are many body shops out there but not like M & F. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Their work is excellent, on time and very well priced. After I got into 2 accidents with my truck it was pretty banged up in the front and back side and when I brought it in they where such a pleasure to deal with, taking the time to explain and walk me thru the process. I was in a tight situation bc I had to pay out of pocket and after being laid off from work for some time now, they helped in a way I can never forget. For sure I thought I was gonna pay at least 8k but they where able to cut the price down by 40% and not only did they save me money but I had some dings and dents on the side panels and they fixed them for nothing. The work and paint job was immaculate as if I never got into a accident. You can tell they take pride in their work and being in biz for i think 50+ years you can tell they know their stuff. I told a few ppl about them when asked about the repair made on my truck and it seems as everyone knows them or knows someone who had work done there. Freddy the owner is such a good guy and very funny I may add and I would never forget what they did for me. So if u know anyone or u need any work done to your car, M & F AUTOBODY Inc. Bridgeport, CT should be your 1st choice. I also have to add that I had no car to get around so they gave me a free loaner. They did my transmission a rebuild on my Tahoe and it's been a year and no issues at all. The mechanic John is amazing. Over the winter he saved my ass by bringing my 02 Silverado plow truck back to life after needing my truck for all the snow and I thought it was dead. Whatever he did, my truck hasn't run better than it ever had. I was getting ready to sell for parts or junk it but 289k miles John made the impossible, possible. Couldn't have been anymore happier. “I purchased a zippy, red car via Carvana that I was all too excited to drive. Unfortunately, the gentleman who delivered my car was also excited to drive my zippy, red car. He was SO excited that he managed ding...something, leaving an ugly scratch on the car's bumper. I went to Yelp for quotes because I was unable to find a local repair shop who could fix this damage in a timely manner. Stratford Collision responded to my request within minutes with a VERY reasonable quote. When I dropped off my car, the guys in the shop were courteous (which isn't always the case). “Was looking to get my damaged bumper fixed so got 3 quotes from different shops. Kali's was about $500 cheaper then the next lowest guy so I decided to give them a shot. Just got my car back and the bumper looks great and is color matched perfectly. They even went above and beyond by fixing a few other minor scratches in my bumper that were not apart of the original estimate. Good guys here with good rates, will be sure to use them again in the future.”
“Just had to leave a review because my car looks brand new again! I brought it in after a pretty bad fender bender and these guys crushed it. From the first call they were super easy to talk to — no pressure, straight-up honest, and they even handled all the insurance stuff for me.
The bodywork is perfect. You literally can’t tell it was ever smashed up. Paint match is spot on, everything lines up great, and it looks factory fresh. While it was there I asked them to check out some other weird noises and issues I’d been ignoring… they fixed those too and now my car drives way smoother and quieter.
The whole shop is clean, the team is chill and friendly, and they kept me updated the whole time with pics and everything. They even washed and detailed it before giving it back.
