High quality products, professional stylists and a nice, clean & cozy salon!
I went to get a collagen / keratin treatment and had the pleasure of meeting Maria as my stylist, she was super friendly and would explain the process of the treatment to me in detail as we were going.
They offer water, tea and coffee to customers which I thought was super nice!
It’s such a shame I had to leave Connecticut in a rush, I would’ve liked to return to get some products but best believe as soon as I’m back I’ll be returning!

Kathi at A Cut Above is simply the best!Everytime I leave her chair I am completely satisfied with my color and cut. She is great at listening and offering suggestions to help achieve exactly what you want. She never disappoints!!

Liked my cut and highlights even better the second time. Deb is always on the spot. She had new ideas and showed them to me. I got my husband going for cut and color too. He never looked better.

I’ve been going to Kathi at A Cut Above far longer than I can remember and I always come out feeling great (nothing better than a good hair day!) Kathi really listens to her clients’ needs and is continually up to date on the industry’s training and techniques. There are also a number of other great stylists there. Kathi at A Cut Above has been my go to stylist for many years. I've lost count of the number of fabulous comments I receive from people after I've had my hair cut and styled by her. She always listens to what her clients are looking for and stays up to date on trainings and current trends. She is honest in her opinion if she believes a requested style isn't right for you and will help you determine your best look while bearing in mind you need to be able to manage the style when away from the salon. Deb the owner is also fantastic. It's a very friendly and inviting salon with many great stylists and I highly recommend it.

I recently went to A cut above and had a great experience. Wendy was amazing, so professional and friendly. I have thick curly hair and she was able to thin it nicely. I left with a sleek soft hair style that held up well. Definitely going back. She also has done my daughter's hair and did a fantastic job as well.Services: Haircut

I called yesterday to make an appointment for the following day and Sarah was able to squeeze me in at 9AM when they first opened. This is my first time at the salon and everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I couldn't be happier with my hair!

Everyone here took every possible precaution to assure the safety of the clients. I would definitely recommend A Cut Above both for its wonderful stylists and for its attention to all safety methods.
