“A Truly Exceptional Experience with Charles Schwab Four years ago, after my husband passed away, I went to a Charles Schwab office in Westchester County looking for help. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that I received the guidance I needed. Thankfully, I later found Richard Sica at the Charles Schwab office in Brookfield, Connecticut. From the very beginning, Richard was completely different. He took the time to sit down with me, explain everything in a way I could understand, and patiently walk me through my portfolio. At the time, I knew very little about investing or financial matters, and Richard taught me so much. What I appreciated most was that he never made me feel uncomfortable for asking questions. He was always willing to take his time, explain things again when necessary, and follow up with me through meetings to make sure I understood what was happening with my portfolio. I also want to recognize Ian, Richard’s assistant, whom I have known for about two years. Ian has always been extremely helpful, diligent, and attentive. Richard, Ian, and the entire staff have made a tremendous difference in my experience with Charles Schwab. “Sikorsky is far superior for loans than other local CU’s like MSCU. I was told at MCSU my 6 years of perfect credit card history was “inexperienced” credit. They refused to approve this perfect credit without a co-signer whereas Sikorsky approved it immediately at a lower rate, in a shorter amount of time, with less back and forth. Great organization with realistic lending criteria. Funds deposited quickly.”

“The staff has gone above and beyond to provide customer service just not found in banks that are not local. The people there really care and say hello. Have been super kind to my elderly father who also banks there and has for years. Once when an ATM ate my check they resolved it that day-without hassles a bunch of paperwork or panicked calls. One star off for fees I find excessive but all banks have those I guess! Have had great experiences in Brookfield and New Fairfield as well as Danbury branches”
