I used to send all of my clients chocolates from another company. A friend of mine manufactured all the boxes for Bridgewater chocolates so I decided I will give them a try and sent about 50 boxes to all of my clients, which was a great move on my part, I was shocked at the number of, wonderful comments I got for my customers. I have been buying Bridgewater chocolates for over two decades now, and I have never once been disappointed. They are very rich in flavor and you will be smiling every time you try one. my four daughters, give me hints, every holiday about getting them more Bridgewater chocolates, they also tell me they want the big cans of the chocolate pretzels which are absolutely delicious. You will not be disappointed trying this company. I gave them a five star review because they deserve it.

The customer service is one of the worst I have ever encountered. I received multiple emails for mother's day chocolates from them, so I decided to order a box for my mother. I ordered them on April 29th. The message in the box says "Happy Mother's Day Grandma." Yet, these idiots can't even manage to get them out on time. I am furious. They won't even refund shipping costs. I spent $70 for my mother not to have a present for mother's day.

I'll start with the one good chocolate from our boxes -- the chocolate covered toffee-- very, very good. The other chocolates were below average. The caramel and nut ones so hard that you couldn't bite into one without possibly breaking a tooth. This place was written up as best chocolates in CT? Maybe their presentation but as for quality - wery let down after spending $78 for one 9 piece box and one slightly larger.

Do not order online! Received stale rancid nuts in Tortles awful! Contacted them they simply referred me to CEO WHO DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! So I opened a dispute with my credit card company. Not to mention I had purchased for a dear friend who’s mothers been recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer they fear has spread to her brain. She had mentioned she liked turtles when we were taking about treats ( I was trying to put together a care package for her) I thought “oh I know of a fancy place I can order some from” my husband hasn’t worked in 2 years And there are no luxuries any more. I had mentioned to the CEO I WAS BUSY selling my possessions on EBay to help pay bills. I ordered a box for her with $3.50 bow and one for me without a bow. I really really needed to do something for myself. They arrived, I tasted one and thought they must be frozen they sat outside in the cold an hour before I knew they’d been delivered. I couldn’t even place the flavor I had in mouth mouth I spit it out and rinsed my mouth with water it was awful! I could still taste it an hour later (rancid stale almonds apparently NO pecans (they cost more) so to save money because $20 for 6 small chocolates isn’t enough profit for these horrible greedy owners, so they don’t put any pecans in them . $56 $10 shipping 2 boxes of 6 turtles. The CEO SIMPLY SAID SORRY YOU DONT LIKE THEM WE PUT PECANS AND ALMONDS IN THEM, if you want all pecans got to one of our stores. That was it. No offer to replace them or have them picked up and refund. Stuck with expensive chocolate I can’t eat or give to my friend out the $56 I really couldn’t afford and even after I explained this was a big deal for me and a gift for a friend going through a very hard time. NOTHING NO EMPATHY IN A TIME WHERE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY ME COULD USE EVEN THE SMALLEST AMOUNT. I’m Angry I wasted my money I’m angry at their response and I’m Angry I’ve had to waste so much time contacting them contacting my credit card company and writing reviews but I intend to MAKE the time to post these reviews. People should know. Absolutely despicable!

Oh, gosh, I really love Bridgewater. I'd long been a fan of the peanut butter pucks, and their caramels - creamy caramel and frost bites are my faves. I also enjoyed the pretzels and mixed toffees. However, last time I visited, I tried one of their marshmallows. HEAVEN. Unbelievable, and I'm not even a huge marshmallow fan. The packaging is excellent (and quite sturdy, if you're thinking of shipping--which is expensive, so if you can pick them up at the store, it's better!). Highly, highly recommended! NB: This location is the factory store. There is another location on the same road a few miles down that is the official store. Both sell the same items, but there's a bit of a discount here.

I was given a beautiful box of chocolate from Bridgewater Chocolate as a gift, and it was delicious. I received a very elegantly wrapped box that was full of very fresh caramel sea salt chocolates, and I was impressed by the quality of the chocolate confections. I am hoping to go here in person to try out more of their chocolates.

Associates were rude to my three children and myself. We had to leave the facility after being spoken about with another customer where we were referred to as stupid. I will never support a business who doesn’t respect and accommodate people with disabilities or the immunocompromised.

We ordered almost 300 boxes of chocolate for our customers as a holiday thank you gift and the team at Bridgewater is truly amazing. We ordered the chocolate, had a special logo on the inside of the box and asked them to do all the individual shipping around the country. We worked with Emily D and she managed the whole process seamlessly. The chocolate is amazing and worth every penny and the service is off the charts. Great team in every department and again, Emily knocked it out of the park with the experience we had working with Bridgewater. It's a very well run business.

Exquisite chocolates - especially the chocolate covered toffee. Geez. Could easily become an addiction. The packaging is absolutely beautiful - perfect for a gift. (We originally received as a July 4 gift that came with a beautiful, wired ribbon with stars and stripes. So lovely we immediately ordered for a family member.) And because the chocolates arrive packaged in dry ice, there is no worry about spoilage. This company has it together. Class act. If you have any chocoholics in your life, do yourself (and them) a favor and order from Bridgewater. You'll not be disappointed!

OMG this place has some chocolate that is out of this world. Whatever kind of chocolate do you like they have. The only thing is bring a thick wallet because it's not cheap but then again you pay for quality

Great chocolate! Best place to pick up a hostess gift, send a gift or buy yourself a treat. The chocolate is wonderful but even better is the presentation. Worth every penny!

I was in Brookfield for a 50th High School Reunion for Brookfield High School - Class of 1969. Someone had mentioned Bridgewater Chocolate Company as an excellent store. I was driving to visit my old home and happened to see the store off Silvermine Road in Brookfield. What an amazing place. I met Patti, the wife of Eric Landegren, one of the founders, and the developer of the recipes. The store fronts the factory which can be seen through a glass wall. The chocolates are exquisite. I bought a box for a gift and 2 boxes for my wife and me to enjoy. The boxes are hinged masterpieces, exceeded only by the quality of the delightful chocolate contents. I would give them more than 5 stars ⭐️. I highly recommend their products. I‘be sampled chocolates from around the world. These are without peer.

Yummy stop, a bit pricey, but so delish! Try the dark chocolate sampler for a little bit of gooey goodness!
