Prepare to wait. Prescriptions from you doctor are not started when they are received, they are started when you arrive, Remeber to allow for the pharmacy closing for a lunch break and that it closes before the store so arrive an hour before the pharmacy closes to give them time to figure it out

Cvs pharmacy, Brookfield, has gone down hill. They are short staffed, the auto notices tell you an rx is ready to be picked up. You get there and its not ready. If you have refills, it can take days to get them or they are out of stock. The pharmacist is never the same one any longer and sometimes the line can be long with one employee working check out while the other helps with vaccinations or issues. Many people i know have had similar issues and have already changed pharmacies. The woman who s been there a very long time with the purple hair is a familiar face and a welcome staple of the pharmacy.

Let me start off by saying I am not a difficult customer or person in general. Now, with that being said this pharmacy straight up denied filling me prescription UNLESS it was covered by my insurance provider. I have never had any pharmacy say that to me. Due to this nationwide shortage of this medication, I had to jump through hoops just to find a place that even had it in stock so I wasn't being picky on whether or not it was the name brand or generic. I finally found that cvs in Brookfield had it in stock but only the name brand and I was prepared to have to possibly pay out of pocket. I am aware that if I pay out of pocket then my insurance can drop me. I told them that that's fine because I haven't been able to find this anywhere and it's been well over a week since it was sent in to another cvs. The guy then says he needs to see what his boss says and not even 30 seconds goes by that I was on hold and he tells me, "she won't fill your prescription unless your insurance will cover it" I said how that doesn't make any sense and said what if I didn't even have insurance you're telling me I would be denied this being filled? His only answer was "that's what she is saying and telling me" and nothing else. I couldn't even get an answer and then they just went ahead and cancelled it anyways without me telling them to cancel it. Overall, extremely dissatisfied in their customer service, their ability to clearly explain why it was what it was and offered no help in the matter to help me better understand why they were being like that. Never again will i used cvs they are 100% horrible.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We've been going there for more than 15 years and it's always been wonderful.

I switched to this pharmacy years back because the customer service was hands down better than the one in my hometown. And the staff is a 5-star staff today especially in the pharmacy; despite appearing overwhelmed, they continue to put their best foot forward. I find myself completely and totally frustrated with CVS corporate. The corporate giant has repeatedly sent texts to pickup scripts that I already have; they state in 3 days they will be returned and then another that says today is your last day to pick them up. Have you tried to call the automated phone system? The line constantly cuts out and then it says goodbye. If by a slim chance you reach the pharmacy and you have been waiting on hold for quite a while, the line just disconnects; three times in a row this has happened. I've given up calling or even attempting to return a staff members call. I have been taxed $.06 on a script that cost nothing on my end. I emailed the company who wanted me to go back to the pharmacy. Do you think I'm going to hold up a crazy busy pharmacy seeking a refund of $.06?!?! No way! The staff gets 5 stars and corporate one star or less.

It is impossible to call this store. The automatic system just hangs up on you.
