Good store overall, average ace hardware store. Store was clean and overall good location. Can't say too much 1st time here and probably last time just cause I love far away from this location and just happen to be near by at the time.

This is a well stocked and organized store located in the Canton Village Plaza. There were plenty of parking in front of the building. They had grills and outdoor patio furniture on their lawn since it's the spring season. When we walked in, we were immediately asked if we needed help with finding something. We were looking for exterior paint and the employee walked over and showed us the types of paint they had and was very informative. The prices were a little more than the big box stores but it is family owned, local, and has everything we needed for home repairs/upgrades.They have two locations, Canton and West Hartford. They offer paint recycling. If they don't have the product in stock, they will order it for you since they are affiliated with the Ace Hardware warehouse; the warehouse carries over 80,000 items. They offer many services in-house such as key cutting and propane fills. When you join the Ace Rewards, you can earn rewards with every purchase. Overall, a great asset for the community.

need a car remote programed ? DON'T go to the dealer ! Chris is the master. They have state of the art equipment and are significantly less $ than, and MUCH more friendly than any dealer. Ace IS the place!!!

I am feeling generous, for some odd reason. Thus the two stars! I went in to get a dish drain. They said that they did not have what I wanted. I had a strong sense that they were dissembling. To what avail?! What the heck, no one believes in telling the truth anymore. Anyhow. Whatever. Good luck!

the price charged should be what is advertisedI will also be filing a BBB complaintI was told that sale prices conspicuously marked throughout the store would only be honored if I shared my personal informationthis is in direct violation of the CTDPA which took effect July 1st of this year

Came into the store 6-5-2023 with a hose and fitting looking to see what what they had to offer for tubing materials and adapters that fit my specific application. A gentleman asked if I needed any help and promptly show me their tubing selection. I then overheard the acting manager berating an employee (clear medical circumstances) for having to leave early. Upon aquiring the fittings and tubing I needed for my project I asked the manager where I could find hose clamps. He very rudely told me I better have got the information for that tube, I told him yes it's 3/8" Polyethylene and I have 5ft. He proceeded to say "yeah I bet after helping yourself" then belittled the forementioned employee to show me to the hose clamps and check my tubing. Walking away he said something along the lines of you can not trust these people. The forementioned employee helped me out without issue and gave me a post-it note with part number and $/ft. I found the interaction completely inappropriate, uncomfortable and degrading to all involved. Tubing was $.79/ft.

Although when I first moved to the area, I thought this place was very expensive. However, after joining the Rewards membership club with the discount, I found the price to be much more reasonable especially compared to the drive to either Home Depot or Lowe's. Customer service is excellent, especially Ryan who does FOB keys and provided an excellent service for me. Thanks for the excellent neighborhood hardware store!

A true gem of a local hardware store. Top to bottom, every associate knows where items are and is happy to help. I have always been happy with service and selection. Grill and accessory selection are both top notch. Would recommend whether trying to find an obscure hardware part or the perfect grill or grill accessories!

Everyone loves this hardware store. The staff is really helpful with any kind of advice you may need or detailed information about a product that can help you make a decision.Very large inventory of outdoor seasonal needs from snowblowers, shovels and rakes to barbecue grills, patio seating, fire logs and fire pits. Lawn maintenance products from weed wackers and leaf blowers to grass fertilizers and garden hoses. Wall paint and wood stains; doormats; Cleaning items like mops, brooms, dusters and buckets; power tools; plumbing including toilet seats and sump pumps; tool storage kits; sealants; extension cords; batteries; lanterns; HDMI cables, splitters and remotes; noise reduction earmuffs; dry vacs; measuring tapes; every imaginable tool from screwdrivers to socket adapters to pliers and wrenches; a vast selection of lightbulbs.You name it and they almost definitely have it! There's even a revolving rack of greeting cards. Open seven days a week 8AM to 7PM.

Purchased 5 seed packets on March 18 and only one was packed in the bag by the cashier. Realized this when I got home and contacted the manager. Was told since they couldn't find the merchandise they could not help us. We are Canton residents since 1985 and have been frequent customers. They have now lost us as customers over a purchase of $2.75. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I've been here dozens of times and the staff have always been very helpful, knowledgeable and nice. The store has just about everything you need for quick jobs around the house. Plus, it's clean and well organized. Just a disclosure that I've never ordered online for pickup so I can't comment on anything related to online inventory display and orders, but my in-store experiences have always been great.
