I bought my GTI from Mitchell Selig Ford. The car had an issue with the blind spot monitoring system and was sent to Mitchell Volkswagen to have the system diagnosed and fixed. They determined it was an issue with the driver side mirror. They fixed the issue and returned it to Mitchell Selig Ford. I didn’t realize till I got the car home but I noticed the A pillar on the driver side wasn’t fully clicked in. I looked closer and noticed that the headliner was creased and the foam was separated from the backing.the spot that was damaged was really dirty to top it off. They must have accidentally separated the headliner foam/fabric from the headliner when they pulled it down to do the work. Really upsetting to have one problem fixed just to have another one created. So disappointed as I just got the car back because there was other issues that Mitchell Selig Ford was working on.

My VW car battery died in Granby and I got a boost from James, who suggested I take the car to Mitchell VW in Simsbury (about 20 minutes away) and he would follow me. He is a long-time customer of Matt Figueroa and he had to stop in there anyhow. So, with no advance notice I showed up there with James. In under an hour I was driving home. I had been a regular customer at Mitchell in the past, but the drive takes me 35 minutes from my house in Suffield and I wind up having to figure out how to spend my time when I will be there a while. Still, my recent experience will lead me to re-evaluate my future plans.

Joe was great and easy to work with, he responded to my specific needs quickly, found me the perfect car, and got it here on time. I appreciated his willingness to work via text while I had my hands full with a newborn. Josh in finance was also helpful and a pleasure (and hilarious)!

Well taken care of at Mitchell VW! Even though my vehicle was a bit over the 50,000 mile warranty, they got VW to pay 80% of the bill. Hopefully, there won’t be any other huge repairs like this one! I also had a new dealer car to drive for the two weeks my car was being repaired. Thank you, Mitchell VW!

The whole experience was great. It started on the phone with an informative conversation regarding the appointment time and a message about a recent experience with a non-dealer shop. The drop off after-hours was smooth; they had pens, envelopes and a secure key box. I received a call and an email with a video run down of the car and some potential hot spots. It was complete that day and went the following day and spoke with the service tech who went line-by-line over the suggested maintenance. No pressure, just factual information and even different options for getting work completed. I was already delighted with the experience but the in-person conversation was just what I needed to be assured this was my new dealer service center for my VW. Thank you Mitchell Volkswagen!
