DONT BE A LITTER BUG!
It is not that difficult to bring a bag for your trash. And, there are a LOT of people smoking who just toss their cigarettes down anywhere. Act Civilized and keep this beautiful place clean.

It wasn't good I saw ppl drinking and there is a lot of rocks but the water is not salty you could hurt yourself with the sharp slippery rocks

It was a very popular place in the last days of June. Many people swimming. I didn't take kind to the musty smell of the river myself. It didn't appear to be to clean so we didn't go swimming but we did walk the river side which was nice.

Went the day after a hot summer day and the place is completely trashed the pool is beautiful but all the trash on the banks kinda of detracts from the place, forest is beautiful tho

No bathrooms
Parking lot not big go early if u want a spot.

Great hiking spot along a pretty big river. Rocky trails with inclines but great. The parking lot is tiny and Ive seen people with parking tickets for not parking in the actual spots when its full, so if it is full dont try to park along the side road or in the bushes, it wont work and itsnt worth that.
You cant swim here and they do come often to check and give out fines, so if you want to swim go to better place.

Very beautiful, spent some time with my daughter fishing here, nothing caught but still worth the time spent. Very short walk from the parking area, we'll be back.

Great place to go hiking and enjoy trout fishing there’s a lot of cliffs along the river and a short bridge. The downside is not a big parking area it’s limited or restrooms.

What a beautiful little gem tucked away in the depths of Connecticut. Even in December this small stretch of flowing water and rock formations is beautiful.
