“You know, Ive got to give DG props. They will open up a store in the middle of farmland, in the middle of a desert, in the middle of any area where there is absolutely nothing else around. This is the case in Eastford. Its all farmland and woods...and then you go around a bend in the road and BAM...there's a Dollar General. Perfect spot for some quick essentials in an area where there really isn't any other option.”

“Dollar General is one of my go to stores. They have good prices on everything. They have a good stock of staple foods ..snacks..soups..pet food.. candy... dairy and small freezer section. Also paper goods and decorations for Holdays. They really carry a selection of everything you would find in a larger grocery/retail store. And it's great if you live in out of the way areas cos that's where they put them. Clover Valley is their food brand and most of the products are pretty decent. I usually go to the DG near UConn but this one is just as good. In fact I stop at most Dollar Generals when I'm traveling anywhere and stock up for the trip!”
“I'd like to give a shout out to Shannon the cashier, for her helpful, positive manner. After paying for my items with a credit card , I asked if I could have 2 5's for a 10. She calmly called for a supervisor to unlock her cash drawer, and calmly filled my request. I thanked her. She was great.”

“I found a great variety of flavoring for waters. Was pretty surprised to see so many at such a great price. Shelves are well stocked, and staff were friendly. There's also an invipco can and plastic machine on this store. Plenty of parking and a large store.”

“This location is one of the best places to visit and take a look at. The service is excellent and the employees are very friendly try to help you out the best they can. It’s very clean not dirty and have great deals on different items. They have a lot of different products and seem to keep adding to their categories.”
