Bartlem Recreation Area is a very nice park for kids and sports located across the street from the high school. It is a really good park with a great, fenced-in playground that welcomes all children. The playground is very big with lots of activities, friendly for toddlers and older children, providing plenty of fun for hours. The facility has ample fields for baseball, soccer, and football, a skate park, and a community swimming pool with lifeguards. There are plenty of picnic tables in the shade, benches, a gazebo, and flush bathrooms available for some events. The park offers plenty of parking, including handicapped parking. It is ever evolving, with some parts currently fenced off for construction, making for a great outing.
This playground has a sign that says it welcomes all children. As a parent who enjoys weekend road trips with kids, I truly appreciate the kindness of Cheshire residents—you must be a wonderfully happy community.

A really good park and absolutely will come again. Plenty of fun for the kids and a great park for spending the hour and letting your kids have fun. Friendly for toddlers under 2 to at least 6 to 8 years I think. I will recommend everyone to come and check it out yourself.
