“After trying a few local jewelers for repairs, Arnold's has become my favorite by far! I had a gold bracelet that needed to be soldered, and I originally tried a competitor nearby. That place had it for weeks and it fell apart the same day. I then took it to Arnold's, they repaired it correctly, charged me less than half and it was ready in just 2 days! It has been over a year since I found Arnold's, I have been back many times for their repair services. I had my white gold wedding band plated in rhodium, I've had rings resized, and I've had countless antique and modern gold pieces professionally polished here. All the work is done exceptionally well, competitively priced, and usually completed within days. “Jasmine is amazing. Long story short, I ordered a pendant as a gift and it had a time restriction. I was told it would be in no problem. The day before the event, 2 days after the promised date of delivery, it still was not in. After being told on the phone by another associate that I could be refunded but that's all, I went to the store. Jasmine, who took my original order, was visibly concerned and wanted to make right. She got on the phone, made a couple calls and had the pendant in my hands within 24 hours. Today you don't find many that are true to the old school fashion of customer service. I just picked them up and I am blown away at the craftsmanship! The rings are slightly different sizes and you would never know with the way they are perfectly lined up. “You always go into these establishments cautious, esp if your selling something. You should knw the value of what your selling so your not taken advantage of. Patrick at Brookside Pawn, is very honest, he's not out to take advantage of a seller, esp if the seller is uninformed of what they're selling. Connecticut is a small area to live and work in, u cant expect to have a good name and repeat customers if your don't treat them right, so if u want your transactions to go smoothly and get what you think is a fair or even better then fair deal, then dont hesitate to take a ride to Brookside, def worth the drive, dont bother with any of the other shops you see, most will take what they want, not even say hello, and send u on your way feeling regretful that u didn't go to Brookside in the first place,”

They actually keep a record of which "Pops" I have purchased for her from here in the past so I don't make a mistake and get her the same gift twice. Now that's what I call a helpful staff.
