“I love this place! I have found some one of a kind pieces of jewelery here & I am now addicted to visit as often as possible to check out what they have?”
“My experience with CT Gold Buyers was a very smooth transaction and honest experience. Lou, was professional and informative and I would highly recommend this business. By far, they do give the highest price for gold.”
“Its one of my favorite stops artisanally made art pieces, glass and if you're looking for something they will either have it or bring it in. Feels like being apart of a local family.”
“I read about Heck's on social media- and have gone four times! The best and most interesting thrift store I have really ever seen! I always get tons of treasures for dirt cheap. I am going today before my 11:30 am shift starts. Yea! The atmosphere is relaxed chic shabby just like me! Don't change a thing but maybe add Thurs hours if possible.”
“Super friendly store owner!! Beautiful collection of jewelry, art, clothes, and trinkets. Very beautiful gallery in the back as well as assorted scent items and jewelry. Prices were very reasonable and the store owner was very open to negotiating, I got some crazy steals!! Highly recommended and would totally come again.”
“The girls as a whole are awesome and always so helpful to me. Whether I'm consigning or looking at their selection of merchandise, I've always had good interactions at the Southington location. Their customer service and friendly demeanor is top notch! Stop in you won't be disappointed.”
“I was deeply impressed by the cleanliness of the store and quality of the garments that I purchased.
I recently purged my wardrobe and was in deep need of gently used quality items. I walked away with 17 pieces for an incredible price! These items will age beautifully and define my wardrobe to come.
Very impressed.”
“This is a gem!
Similar to a garage sale but with collectables and donations from public that get marked down prices if not sold in a month. The income from sales are distributed to local charities . The volunteer staff is friendly and helpful.
The only drawback is open hours and days are limited.
Call for current hours.
Highly recommend both as donat and customer!”
“Seems Like Yesterday is fun little secondhand stop. Small but packed with character, and one of those places where you actually want to slow down and look at everything.
They’ve got a great mix of classic finds...vintage vinyl, old books, quirky collectibles, and some locally made items mixed in. I picked up a vintage Grateful Dead patch and two floral frogs and spent around $10 total, which felt like a steal.
The staff was kind and welcoming, and even though it’s not a huge store, it’s perfect for killing 15–20 minutes just browsing and spotting interesting pieces you don’t see everywhere else. Definitely worth popping into if you’re in Cheshire and love nostalgic, slightly eclectic shops.”
