Akiba Underground is an incredible local hobby shop in Connecticut, best known for Gunpla, Warhammer, and card games like Magic The Gathering, Pokémon, and Digimon. The shop is always stacked to the ceiling with items, including models, board games, and figures. The staff is very nice, helpful, and makes customers feel more than just a sale, creating an amazing atmosphere. It is a great place for events like Pokémon prereleases. Customers find it a god send and keep coming back regularly, with some traveling far to visit. Many say it exceeds expectations and is the best place in the state for its hobbies.
They went above and beyond trying to find a single model i was after and they didn't need to. Great selection, amazing service, and really good organization as well!

Great staff and a wide selection of gunplay and other models as well as cards! We came for Pokemon cards and was not disappointed! It was a good experience and will go again!
