This is the 2nd time I’ve been to the Colchester Quest in 2 months. Alison, the Technologist, is the reason I go, rather than the closer Marlborough office 5 minutes from my house. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Her skill drawing blood is flawless. Alison is a “breath of fresh air”!

The woman who works here will NOT take walk ins she will tell you everyday she does not have time for walk ins her service is TERRIBLE and she should be fired!!

I would recommend this location, all because Allison is an extremely caring and helpful person. I’ve had a few orders in the past with her and would highly recommend her.

Alison is the reason I'd recommend this location. She was an angel who went above and beyond helping me by taking care of my health provider's screw up. I arrived at Quest to get the full nine yards of blood work for my annual physical, yet there was no information in the computer for me. Alison didn't turn me away, but went three steps further in getting what she needed to provide me with what I needed. She fixed their error and never complained.
On another note, the check-in kiosk is right inside the entrance/exit doors to Hartford Health Care where the flow of traffic comes and goes. The opposite empty corner, diagonal to where the kiosk currently is, seems more appropriate.

I truly need to post a FIVE STAR RATING for Quest of Colchester's phlebotomist, Alison ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are ever BLESSED to have her doing your blood draw, I know you will feel the same way I do!!!! She's a TREASURE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Quest has a crowded waiting room because it's shared with a walkin clinic, Marlboro Quest is just bloodwork by appt. So you're not sitting in a waiting room full of sick people waiting to see a Dr.All Quests I've been to have no front desk person ,all is done digitally , online appt site and a touch screen when checking in. It's difficult for older peoplewho have no idea how to use computers or touch screens ect. Every time I'm there I've helped someone check in.

Don't be one minute late because they will automatically cancel your appointment. But what about the patients that wait 30 minutes past their scheduled time? "You are taking time away from someone else" said the receptionist. How ironic!!

I walked in at 4:00 for a simple blood draw. As I’m signing in I was asked “Do you have an appointment?” I said no, I’m a walk-in. “They don’t take walk-Ins and they close @ 4:00”My issue is not with the messenger. My issue is that there is no mention of the no walk-in policy anywhere. This is not my first bad experience with this office.
