U-Haul Moving & Storage of Columbia offers a wide range of moving solutions, including truck rentals, trailers, cargo vans, pickup trucks, and self-storage. The business also provides portable U-Box containers, Moving Help® providers, hitch installations, moving and shipping boxes, and propane. Customers have generally had positive experiences with the business. The staff is described as friendly, attentive, and professional. The facility is clean, and the technicians who perform hitch installations and vehicle servicing are skilled and communicative. One reviewer had an excellent experience getting a hitch installed, noting the technician kept them informed and the price was reasonable. However, not all experiences have been perfect. One customer had issues with a rental van, where the check engine light was on, and the vehicle had trouble accelerating. When the customer brought this to the manager's attention, the response was described as condescending and dismissive. Another reviewer noted the manager had a "disrespectful and hostile attitude" when they arrived to rent a van without a prior reservation. Overall, U-Haul Moving & Storage of Columbia seems to provide a generally positive experience for customers, with skilled technicians and friendly staff. But there have been a few instances of poor customer service that impacted the experience.
Always Fast Friendly Service when I go here. The equipment is well maintained and available when I need it. I will continue to go back to this location because of this and its convenient location.
