Mohawk Mountain Ski Area is a family run ski area located in Cornwall, Connecticut. It is the biggest mountain in CT and a popular destination for both day and night skiers. The skiing is the closest to Vermont as you can get in Connecticut, with decently long trails and some of the best pow days. It is a really good place if you have young kids getting their ski legs in place and a wonderful place to teach young ones to ski. The staff are great and on point, and they work wonders with the snow keeping the slopes covered and groomed.
