Mohawk Mountain Ski Area is a family run ski area located in Cornwall, Connecticut. It is the biggest mountain in CT and a popular destination for both day and night skiers. The skiing is the closest to Vermont as you can get in Connecticut, with decently long trails and some of the best pow days. It is a really good place if you have young kids getting their ski legs in place and a wonderful place to teach young ones to ski. The staff are great and on point, and they work wonders with the snow keeping the slopes covered and groomed. I had a great time at Mohawk, just a few hours at dusk. Lovely place for real New England skiing, great value and a nice lodge. Never waited for a lift with multiple chairs serving the top. Great staff everywhere. I bought a fountain soda and chocolate chip cookie for the ride back down Route 7.

Excellent place during the winter to spend the day while doing fun activities. Staff was helpful and food was also great.

Mohawk is by far the best mountain in Connecticut. They have amazing runs and a great community. It is great for kids and family. I highly recommend going there.
