I need to trace 3 missing USPS issued money orders & see if they were stolen/cashed (turned out they were). I went to this location & asked the woman for the forms I needed to fill out. She looked dumbfounded & said. 'We don't do that here.' I said 'Yes, you do.' It went back & forth for a bit with her denying she even understood what I was talking about & getting a nasty attitude. Finally she told me, 'You gotta go to Storrs for that' (lie). I had no choice but to leave.
When I got to the Storrs location, I explained how the rude employee in Coventry lied to me, etc.. The Storrs employees looked at each other, rolled their eyes & said it happens constantly, that the workers at the Coventry location are awful, refuse to do their job, claim they can't help people & tell them to drive to Storrs all the time. They said they have loads of regular customers from Coventry now because of this.
I'll avoid the Coventry location at all costs because of that woman, but I assume that's exactly what she wants anyway so she can do as little work as possible.

I've had better experiences with the DMV. Had to be the most unpleasant woman I have ever met working at the counter. We got there early in the morning and we were at most the third person at the counter and she was giving us attitude immediately. For context my partner and I have never been to the post office and my 300+ dollar package was never delivered when we had scheduled it for redelivery so we went to the post office and the woman was acting like we were expected to know everything off the bat, we told her that we were there to pick up a package and she just stared at us blankely like we knew what to do and then when we saw it sitting there she needed id (package was under my partners name and he didn't have id) and she acted like we already knew that. Like holy crap lady we weren't even notified that it was changed from redelivery to pickup. Most condescending worker I have ever met and I wish this could be done at a different office.

I absolutely hate going inside Coventry Post Office due to the unfriendly ladies that work there. When you walk in, they have a smug look on their face as if you are bothering them. Never are they friendly to people. Maybe they just don't like seeing 'old white people' ?!? I always just drop my packages on the front counter and peace out. My family members hate going in too. Just sucks!! Have you ever noticed how miserable most people that work for USPS are? Storrs office the same way. The counter people are absolutely horrendous rags.

Trying to talk to someone at Coventry post office and it’s not possible to get to a human. Poor customer service.

Whoever the woman is that works this location on Saturday mornings is horrible. I came to get educated on Shipping because I’m starting a business and I live within walking distance of the store. She was more interested in texting on her phone ( literally texting on her phone as I’m asking her questions) then got annoyed with ME when I didn’t understand her vague answers she was responding with. I couldn’t have been any nicer to her and she was rolling her eyes and saying “ oh lord” when I didn’t understand what she was saying ( which wasn’t my fault it was hers for not clarifying) . Why is she employed?

I had asked the lady at the front a question about where my package was, and I was met with extremely rude attitude, where she expected me to understand how the USPS system works (I had just moved near Coventry). When I tried to clarify what she met, she got hostile with me and started to act like I was being rude for trying to clarify. I’m sure everyone else is nice, but this specific person was a horrid individual.

Horribly rude "ladies" staffing the counter at this location 6/20 at 12 PM. They were too concerned about making it to lunch on time and kicked us out. Shipping our international package was too time consuming for them. We had to finish at a different post office. One of the surly "ladies" complained we were "taking (our) sweet time" and apparently lacks the intelligence to understand that she should have used her inside voice. These 2 girls seem like they belong at the Hartford post office and not a rural town like Coventry. Get out of my town!

Cards I have mailed from this post office seem not to arrive at their destination. I go to Storrs PO whenever I can. It's sad when post office steals your grandchildren Birthday cards.

I honestly rarely use the post office. I've only been to this location 2-3 times since moving to town 6 years ago. I tend to always get the same person behind the counter and she constantly has a bad attitude. Went in today at 4:30pm and the sign on the door says they close at 5. two customers in front of me and all I wanted to do was buy a book of stamps. She told another customer to tell me she was closed. Not according to the sign on your door. Just overall bad attitude and poor customer service from this location.

Had a great experience today at the store. The employee was very patient with me as I tried to find the right box.
