Bishop's Citgo is a gas station with a nice convenience store attached, offering a good selection of beverages, snacks, and sundry things one might need on the road. They also sell lottery tickets. There are plenty of pumps to use, and there is rarely a wait to get gas or supplies. The employees are consistently described as some of the nicest, kindest, and most helpful people. They are very kind and easy to talk with. In various incidents, staff have gone out of their way to assist customers, such as helping with a car problem, providing a warm place to wait, offering medical advice, and even contacting a customer directly to return a lost debit card. However, some customers express strong warnings, advising others to watch before they pump. They report being charged the credit price for using a debit card, which they state is illegal, and have experienced issues with the pump seemingly selecting a different, more expensive gas grade than chosen.
Nice location, very close to the exit. The gas was pretty cheap, especially for Connecticut. The convenience store was very cozy and the staff were friendly. The bathroom are pretty clean definitely up there in terms of cleanliness compared to some other places. Worth stopping here.
