I have never worked with such an unprofessional manager as Lynn. Not only did she try to force to come in while I had an eye infection, but she would also text co-workers behind my back trying to pin them against me.
Threaten action against a coworker if they didn’t show up to work even though they were sick, and not long after they tested positive for Covid.
Alongside that, she not long did all of that, and we have proof of all of that, but she also forced another coworker to come in to the salon with Covid. Possibly exposing our older clients to the virus.
Of course these are just some of the highlights, of the type of person Lynn LaPierte is.

Asked an employee how she was doing when she checked me in for my haircut and she responded “I want to kxll my self.” I was nervos about getting my hair done by a very old women with unkempt, dirty redhair all over the place like a huge giant rat nest, should have been my first sign things wouldnt go well for my own hair.... you can’t do your own hair how are you going to someone elses....... I want to get a short cut for summer and it looked uneven and horrible...... I should have known i should have walked out when the young girl paired me with her as a hair dresser. the girl who said that… I want to kxxll myself now tooi looks so bad my job commented on it. went down the street to cost cutters and they FIXED IT FOR FREE!! rhey will have my business now!! so her opinion very understandable. When checked out I asked if the elderly woman was new and the girl, maybe 18, said the woman was the manager and she was new and people don’t stay around long. I have never seen the same persons twice work here. understandable will NEVER go back.

I requested an inch trimmed off with an undercut to make the ends turn under. My entire haircut took less than five minutes. No effort was made to undercut it. Usually part of the hair is clipped up and cut in sections and it will be parted and re-parted to make sure there are no long strands hanging. This did not happen. When I thought she might be going to start the undercut, I was told she was done. I have never had a haircut where so little effort was put in.

Once in a while, I like to treat myself to a wash and blow dry. Parisians and cost cutters both charge $25 for this service. I had no other choice but to go to great clips this Sunday and they charge $45 that’s ridiculous. May be a five dollar difference but a $20 difference? And when I questioned it, I got zero reaction.

I never got her name, but my stylist was great! It was the woman with the tattoos working at 51 Shunpike. She went the extra mile and made great conversation, promote her!!!

Just got my haircut today from Alysia she did a great job. We changed it up a little bit from the last time I was there and did A excellent job. My wife was very happy. I know places like this wanna move people in and out but I do appreciate that She takes the time to get my hair right because I have a lot of cowlicks., I know that doesn't make the management happy because she takes little more time but it makes me happy and I do appreciate them letting her do it. I'd like to thank the management for keeping Alysia employed their also Lynn and Amanda are very good

EMPLOYEES at the Cromwell, CT location are the worst. They do not know how to handle the walk- ins. When we walked in , they were working on 2 already seated in. After that 2 other came and were attended to. Same for the next 2. Then another 2 came. When they were called in , I told them we were leaving after 1.5 hr waiting and wasting our time for nothing. They need better training. Rather go to another salon. my money is appreciated else where. it' s not my loss it is great clips loss.
