Best location to pick up Benjamin Moore paint! My brother-in-law grabbed paint from the John Boyle Decorating Store in Cromwell and loved the friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Bought paint here last week and Dan helped my husband and I. Dan was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. He answered all our questions and helped us choose the right paint for our needs. We’ll be returning because of his wonderful service and attitude. It’s nice to get great service in today’s day and age. Thank you!

I do not recommend. They sold me an item marked $19.95, but charged me $27.65. The receipt had a different item name as well. I assumed an innocent error and returned @2 hrs after purchasing, for refund of difference. Instead I was told that the prices went up when Boyle bought the store and it's an old price tag and they would not honor it. I chose to return it and was informed i would need to come back another day because there was no manager.They pretty strongly refused to refund the money, finally agreeing to call a manager and complete the process. I'm pretty sure the law is you have to honor the price, and even if not, a customer shouldn't have to argue to get the 'boss' to come out of a back room instead of yelling at a customer through walls. I was very happy to go across the street to Ace hardware to repurchase the item at an honest price.

The customer service is exceptional. Employees are well versed in their products and always willing to take as much time needed to help me find exactly what I need for my home projects. Every visit is always a comfortable experience and the staff is consistently patient and kind when it comes to answering questions.

Pretty much exclusively buy paint here now. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The aura paint has been a life saver for my subpar painting skills, too.
