Mostly positive experiences with the new staff but not recently - they wouldn’t give me two small pieces of scotch tape to seal an envelope that I had to reopen. But told me I could buy a roll of packing tape if I wanted. Really? Is it really too much to ask for a small act of kindness?

I received a notification of certified mail that said I was notified 2 times prior, never received anything before the day I went to pick it up??

Certified mail doesn’t get delivered and you don’t get a refund. Mail doesn’t get delivered after 2 months and so on. Not friendly workers. You hate to ask a question. They keep sending mail that isn’t mine and you tell them but they keep sending. You return mail that isn’t yours and they don’t even say thank you. Aweful!

The Cromwell post office is responsible for me receiving no mail for over two months. They offered little assistance and couldn't have cared less.

I hate writing bad reviews, and I’ve lived in Cromwell for years, but please do yourself a favor and skip this branch entirely for passport services. They are not worth the headache and frustration.
USPS website states they do walk in passport appointments, so I walked in as a solo appointment early with all paperwork ready, just looking to do a new passport with my new last name post marriage. Only 1 other customer was ahead of me already being taken care of, and 2 people total working behind the desk. They told me they actually don’t do walk ins and only take appointments for passports. So the other worker, who was not doing anything at all, made me an appointment for 2 weeks later when they had availability after going back and forth through the appts online (in the time it could’ve taken them to just process my application considering there was no one behind me and I literally had everything ready to go). Fine. Made an appointment 2 weeks out for another Saturday morning since I work during the week and can’t make the weekday appointment hours. Morning of, I get a phone call at 7am saying they have to cancel all passport appointments because the 1 person who can do them there is sick. Fine. Made another appointment online for another week out on a Saturday morning. Morning of AGAIN, get a phone call at 7am saying they’re cancelling all appointments. Made another appointment at a different location, but at this point I’m going to have to pay for expedited shipping.

Have been living in Cromwell for 7 years and always have problems with my mail packages. I have been a sent sentimental package from my late grandmother and the post office said that my mom sent it to the wrong address and she has sent me other stuff and I have gotten it. This has happened to me before with my mom packages.

Unacceptable!!! This is not the first time they have purposely damaged our mail/packages. This is utter disregard of other people's mail/packages! Will be reporting a complaint!

The Cromwell Post Office has consistently over the years provided us with great service, both at the counter and mail/home delivery. Our regular carrier, Dave, is a top-flight guy, and Jamie is kind and considerate. These folks are an example of fine, dedicated public service.

As a 43 year veteran and retiree I am appalled every tune I step foot in this office...Your window clerks are by far the most rude, unprofessional, always mad employees! WHY IS THIS?
I have ran numerous offices and always always these clerks are angry and rude...
Fix it or I go to a higher level next time this occurs...

Girl behind counter at 12:30 on Saturday 4/13, was the rudest person I have ever encountered at a post office. Closed at 12:30, but the girl that went in before at the same time was allowed. She purposefully decided not to let me in though. Great seeing my tax dollars at work, USPS now gets to decide who mails their taxes or who doesn’t.

"No personnel to do the passport". Meanwhile we arrived at opening with no one else in the store and another employee standing watching the guy tell us no.
