I've been with this location a few years. I had problems getting refills at another business. I've not had any issues until this week? When you call, it just says please hold there are 3 + people ahead of you. This continues for half hour. I hang up. It's almost closing time. I check on the app. Prescription a submitted on Monday still in process. Prescription b from Tuesday not showing they have it. It's now Wednesday. I call the store. Ask for the store manager this time. A woman gets on the phone and as I start to explain, she interrupts me, says we've been having issues with our phone system and transfers me over to pharmacy. When the guy answered, he was able to find the new script. Tells me no insurance issues, will get that filled. I inquire as to why it's been 24 hrs and he says we're a little backed up. I ask if while I have him I could refill others as the app seems to also be having issues. Not so pleasant but not quite rude he does so. He does forget 1 of them, but thankfully I was able to request it on the app. So now, I have 7 orders I'm waiting for. Nvm I need my sons. I believe there has been a recent change somewhere in the business. The employees seem overwhelmed. It's coming over slow and inpatient to me. I know all of us get meds we need. So every script is a priority. I'd recommend better communication with the clients and maybe with a bit of understanding. If we don't know, it's difficult to be patient when you're expecting your normal top notch service.

I am extremely frustrated with this store because they forward phcy phones and it doesn't even RING for them to hear or answer ca;lls. Give it a try and see what happens. I need my prescription info urgently and I can't get through. I was actually in that store 2 weeks ago becuase I couldn't get through and there weren't any other customers at phcy and the 3 young people behind the counter were tripping over themselves trying to clean! I said why isn't the phone ringing? They said it's forwarded because it's too distracting!!! SERIOUSLY????

Shout out to Ashley and Amanda. Both went over and above with customer service. Placed an online order, supposed to be delivered by DoorDash and DoorDash dropped the ball.... BIG TIME. Maybe DoorDash should hire more employees like Ashley and Amanda.

I am excited to write and submit a review on Jenna, who works in the Cromwell, CT Walgreens pharmacy. Incredible is not a good enough description of her professionalism, jovial personality, excellent attitude, courtesy and compassion. I have had the pleasure of experiencing Jenna's expertise in resolving issues pertaining to glitches in Walgreens on-line shipping. She has tremendously aided in calming me down numerous times. On the occasion when Jenna is assisting other customers, I wait until she is finished because I know she will take care of my elderly mother's needs without fail. Indeed, the pharmacist and other members of the pharmacy's staff are wonderful (some names I recall are Sara/Sarah and Chris). But I am so used to dealing with Jenna now. I surmise that other happy customers have experienced the same level of service who have not submitted reviews for one reason or another (perhaps they're not comfortable or are unable to navigate around technological devices). Before closing, I just have to add how Jenna went above and beyond ensuring my mother's medications were received expeditiously last week...she sent them through Door Dash the same day. I know that Jenna is a great asset not only to Walgreens, but to our community and nation. I pray that she is recognized and rewarded for her service. She certainly deserves it! I don’t know what it is about this store but the employees are all rude, slow, and just useless. I’d avoid this Walgreens location if you can. Every time I’ve been here there’s been an issue.

Slowest service EVER!!!!! I went in to purchase a birthday card and pick up pictures that were ready. They could not find pictures I waited my whole half hour lunch break and was late back to work. WORST SERVICE EVER A sloth moves faster than these people. 0 STARS

The pharmacist was so kind and helpful didn’t have no issues when I called to get my prescription change from 311 E main st Middletown, CT My first and last time. I’m happy I’m in good hands.

Got there 1:15pm, asked if I had an appointment for the flu vaccine. Tell them no. They tell me to come back at 2:00pm because they have lunch and others are in front of me. Cool. So I wait in my car until 2:10 only to go inside to be told they’re not doing walkins right now. By the same individual!Just wasted an hour when someone could have simply told me that when I arrived the first time. Unprofessional and unorganized.
