I went to AAA Danbury yesterday to apply for TSA Pre-check. I was already aware of a membership issue I had where my single membership was split into two primary memberships costing me more money. I had planned on asking if it could be taken care of once the TSA stuff was finished. As soon as Christian saw the problem, she made a phone call and took care of it right away without me ever asking and before moving on with the TSA issue. She even got a partial refund for me!! She did all of this with a smile and a great attitude the entire time. Christian is the perfect example of what customer service should be and AAA Danbury is lucky to have her!!

Always efficient and very friendly staff. The only part of my visit that was not 5 star was that left turn attempt leaving their parking lot LOL.

The greater Danbury, CT area does not have anyone on duty from 11pm to 7am. This means if you have any issue with your car, foat, lockout, dead battery andnit is after 11pm you will be waiting until after 7am the following day for assistance. AAA will tell you that the call is scheduled but nobody will show up. So on top of not getting you service they flat out lie to you. The kicker is tonight I placed my first call to AAA at 8:15pm and nobody came and now I have to wait until tomorrow am. I work nifhts amd am now out several hundred dollars thanks to AAA. Had they just been honest I could have called a service station while they were open earlier this evening. Thanks for letting me down and lying to me AAA. At least I get discount movie passes....

They still provide roadmaps, I thought those disappeared with the use of the GPS.For members, they have a currency exchange, which is gratis, travelers checks are now passé. They have a dedicated, travel, agent and insurance agent there as well. The lobby is inviting. There's sufficient parking in front.

My agent in Danbury was terrible. I booked a cruise in May and never heard from her until the week before the sailing. I had never cruised on my own and counted on her expertise. After several calls to AAA someone finally transferred me to a manager who advised her to call me. I never received my boarding passes and all the excursions were booked. We did not enjoy the trip and saw very little since there were no excursions left. I did send her an email when we arrived home. It was a very expensive trip since I made upgrades to make it special. Even tho the cruise was this past September, I am still upset since it ruined our anniversary. I have lost all interest in planning future cruises and canceled our AAA membership which was listed under Jorgen Jacobsen.

I recently spoke with a Danbury AAA Travel Agent by phone. First thing that pleasantly surprised me was that he answered the phone immediately, spoke clearly AND identified himself right away. Who does that anymore?!Further, his knowledge, experience and willingness to help were quite refreshing. He not only answered my questions but anticipated my concerns and addressed each fully. He was more interested in my having a trip that I would enjoy and stay within my budget rather than earning his commission at my expense.Mark - YOU'RE THE BEST!

This is not a review regarding AAA staff at this particular location. It is a review about the cheap batteries they give you. I have two vehicles and when I needed batteries, one battery didn't have the tag on it so it couldn't be determined if it was less than 2 years old (which it was because this battery was an AAA replacement) so I couldn't get the free replacement. I had to pay $160 for a battery that needed to be exchanged again. Less than a year after being purchased. Now the battery in my other vehicle (also an AAA replacement, less than 2 years old) needs to be replaced. I wish AAA would refund me for the two batteries and I'll just go to AutoZone and buy them myself.
