I visited this AFC after an incident at work that required medical attention. I originally went to the ER with my concern and was dismissed by the doctor on-call. He made me feel like a burden and ridiculous for my concerns. I was hesitant to visit the urgent care the next day believing I was, in fact, a burden and would receive the same treatment. However, I was still concerned about what happened. The front desk receptionist (a male whose name I forgot to get) was so funny and warm he made me feel seen. Nurse Monique just knocked it out of the park for me. She was so attentive, she heard me, she sympathized with me and made me feel human again. She shared her personal experience and made me feel less alone and safe. I hope Monique makes it far in this field, and I hope she always keeps her kind nature. Great nurses make a big difference, and she did for me that day.

They're check-in system is horrible. The system was down. Several people were waiting and frustrated.

My family goes to the Newtown Road location. The place gets a lot of sun and it is spacious. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Monique, the nurse at AFC Ugent Care, remembers me and my family when we see her. She always has a smile and is nice to talk to. She is great with interacting with my kids. She always wishes us to get well when she leaves the room. We all feel heard and our needs are addressed at every visit. Thank you so much!!!

This is the one urgent care I actually like...they always have a lot of the same doctors and they are caring, have great bedside manner and knowledgeable. Honestly a urgent care that can keep the same doctors just shows that this practice treats their staff as great as the doctors treat their patients.

They were about to let me leave without ever treating me… I had to ask for specific treatment options. They had me waiting forever in the room. The doctor kept leaving me in there for no reason. The doctor was impatient about answering any questions and barely gave any helpful information. Awful.
