This store is like an abusive relationship. I keep coming back thinking I'm going to get different results. Generally, I'm treated with indifference. Half my wardrobe is Brooks Brothers because they can make some decent items that last. I'm willing to pay for that. That is the reason for the 3 stars. I still haven't completely given up on some of their classic WASPY styles (which I love btw). However the employees do not go above and beyond in any sense. It's unfortunate their retail experience has devolved so much because I will probably just do most of my shopping and returns through online channels. Pre Pandemic, before they went bankrupt, their store employees seemed to care more and gave suggestions and personal attention.

I placed an order on Brooks Brothers website with in-store pick up. I called to verify the store had the merchandise and Julien verified they did. I went in the next day as promised, and Janine was the sales associate who attempted to assist me. She indicated she canceled my order in the morning as she didn’t find the merchandise in spite of it being on the counter behind the register with a detailed note from Julien. I said l would purchase it in the store, but she charged me 50% off rather than the advertised 60% off. When l asked her to offer the correct discount she said all she could do was take an additional 10% off which amounted to 55% off. I asked for an explanation of why she wasn’t providing the advertised 60% off and l’m she continued to say this was all she could do. I expressed frustration with the poor level of customer service on her part, to which she walked away from me. She had Andy come to assist me and he, like Julien, offered appropriate customer service. If it were not for Julien and Andy, l would not return to the Danbury store. Management l implore you to take this experience up with your employee, Janine, to prevent this very unfortunate and unnecessary experience from occurring with any future customers.

Great clothes great staff and customer service. Knowledgeable polite much more sophisticated than other stores. staff also educated sales are phenomenal 2 suits for $1499. Each suit is $1299. Great place for quality clothes and professional staff

I had one of the worst experience with this store. Shop at your own risk! If you purchased a item from this store make sure to return it to the store. The receipt states to return via FedEx don’t do it because you will get the run around from customer service for a refund and wait more than two months to get your money back! Manager mentioned speaking to a regional manager for the stress I’ve gone through, its more than a 3 weeks and I haven’t heard back! I will never shop at this store again! All they do is lie to there high paying customers!!

Brooks Brothers may have nice suits, but I’m afraid I’ll never know, even though I went to the Danbury location this afternoon trying to buy a suit and shirts.Upon entering there was just one person at the register, and they appeared to be on the phone. With no acknowledgement upon entering, I walked into what looked to be the suit section, but there were no sales people to be found.I circled the area a few times looking around, but saw no employees. I walked past the register again, but the only employee was still on the phone and didn’t look up.Not sure if it’s slow sales or maybe just bad timing, but end result, I didn’t buy a suit there.
