I currently own about 10 chef's knives and the one I reach for as my daily driver is the Knuckle Sandwich with Pakka handle. It's heavy, sharp, and something you just know is gonna be able to prep almost anything you can throw at it. I'm not afraid to use it on root vegetables, meat, or soft produce. The Bowie tip does the fine work and the wide blade can chop/slide right through anything.
Ergo Chef has good knives at decent prices with fast shipping.
What more could you ask for?

First of all, I’m a kitchen knife weirdo. The knives I use everyday are from Thiers and were bought there. Started buying them there probably fifty years ago.Second, I’m old and have an old dog. Both of us should probably have died already. Sadly he has issues so I make him chicken with broth to go with his kibble. To do this, I go to Costco, buy a roast chicken for $5, debone, and make broth with the bones. Yes, I know this is long and boring.The chicken is greasy and I want a good knife with a handle that will not slip in my hand. Started with some cheap ceramic knives where the handle was ok but the blades were terrible and eventually broke.So after googling and amazoning for some time found these.The price was too good to be true but decided to try them.Had a DAU problem with the web page and called customer service. I’m in Central, they are in Eastern so it was near closing time and one of the owners answered.Great person, got my problem resolved, mae sure my order eas ok, and that I had selected the right knife with right grip.Knives arrive and are perfect for the task I need them for. The handles feel great, the weight of the knives is much better than expected, and the fit and perform really well.So “Thank You” to the owner who answered the phone and Thank You to Ergo Chef for a great knife!

I was having trouble processing my order on their website. So I called the number on top of the page . A lady answered she was very friendly and helpful she also throw in a coupon my order when I didn't have one excellent customer service.

This is one of the best companies I have ever had the privilege of buying and using there knives. The people are absolutely great to help with questions and ot buying there products. There knives are one of the best in quality, balanced and sharp.will never buy a knife from anyone but this company. Also there people are so nice and polite compared to other companies that just want your money there not like that at all there. They care about there customers and the quality of there product of knives. Thanks again for being so awesome.

I have been using this knife in my home kitchen for several months now. I am a chef by training, so pretty picky about my knives. In the past I have used mid-point and up knives, including Wusthof, Global, etc. I have also tested out a knife by Made-In. This Ergo Chef knife holds its own against every other know I have used -- and exceeds in several areas. Nicely weight-balanced, good and comfortable grip, and the blade holds its edge well. Honestly, it has become my go to knife at home and I am very tempted to purchase a full set. I highly recommend this knife and it definitely cuts above its price point. Fantastic performance and great value. I would be happy to have these fill out my knife kit.Some tasks that I have tested it on include fabricating a whole chicken and duck, carving a roast, lots of dicing, mincing, julliening, etc. Performs all of these well. I was particularly happy with how well it performed on the chicken/duck -- grip was great, never worried about the knife slipping, etc. Blade handles splitting the bones well, and also handled the more precision work well.
