The complimentary Ethan Allen designer couldn't have been more talented and creative. She guided me expertly through the process of creating a new living room, from furniture placement to what items to purchase and what fabrics to select. When home delivery approached, another Ethan Allen associate left a message that two deliveries were scheduled, so I'd have to spend literally a whole day's worth of time waiting for them. I had to call and renegotiate that. The delivery team arrived on time and worked efficiently, but after they left I noticed one of my walkway lights had split in two. I tipped them generously and offered them hospitality, but when I called to complain they denied doing it. Given the size of the walkway light it would have been impossible not to notice when they hit it. Then I realized all the furniture, bought at great expense, had plastic hooks used to attach informational tags I could not completely remove. When I called back to express my dismay about that, the same associate who contacted me about the delivery dates laughed and said no one else had ever complained about that before. What did that have to do with my concerns? When I asked her if she leaves these plastic hooks in clothes she buys, she didn't answer.

We had a great experience choosing and purchasing furniture for our home at the Danbury Ethan Allen Store. Our Design Consultant, Peggy Fortuna was great! She listened to our needs and concerns. She made some really good suggestions. We are extremely happy with our purchases. The quality of the furniture is excellent. We highly recommend the Danbury Ethan Allen and you should request Peggy when visiting the store. She was great to work with. Corinne & Scott Hodes

Long overdue, but well-deserved, this five-star review would be more stars if available. There are so many reasons I sing the praises of the staff at the Ethan Allen Danbury store that I am not sure how to fit it all in. Initially, I started with a furniture consultant in another state who sent me to the Danbury store to see certain items. Upon meeting with the delightful store manager, Elizabeth, and explaining why I was there, she noticed the floor plan I’d been given by this other store would not work, not even close, as the dimensions were not adding up and the pieces would not fit, despite my having gained permission for that furniture consultant to visit and measure the condo we were purchasing.
I was unable to obtain all wall dimensions due to extenuating circumstances and inaccuracies in the plan the first consultant drew up, but Nancy at EA Danbury did amazing detective work and figured it all out. Elizabeth spoke with the other store, smoothed out the awkward debacle, and worked her magic on many levels. I was put in the very capable hands of Ellen Kilroy at the Danbury store to proceed with the task of decorating the not-yet-owned and, for her, sight-unseen condo. Ellen reads her client’s style perfectly, knows her craft and product inside out, and delivers effortlessly. Ellen is a sheer pleasure to work with! Fast-forward, we could not be happier with the results and absolutely love our condo! The serenity it imbues, the casual elegance that welcomes you into each room, and the beauty that just makes you feel good to be there are all thanks to Ellen, Elizabeth, and the staff at the EA Danbury store. Not only do we love the furniture, rug, décor, etc., but the EA Signature mattresses are, by far, the best mattresses of all time. I am so glad we were told about them, so glad we bought them, and only wish I’d known sooner because we’ve tried a lot of top name mattresses over the decades and none compare to these. Do not hesitate to check out the Ethan Allen Signature mattresses while visiting the EA Danbury showroom - a must even if only just thinking about re-decorating. You will be inspired and beyond satisfied!

Working with Marty Holick was a joy. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and helpful but is such a kind and personable man. My wife and I consider him to be a friend as we got to know him very well through this process. He is also excellent to with follow up for any additional needs that came up. Highly recommend Marty for any decorating designs. Truly top-notch!

My experience with Ethan Allen exceeded my wildest expectations. I decided to renovate my bedroom and update my furniture, but I am definitely design challenged. My designer Marty Holick walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. Even before I committed to purchasing anything he designed the room for me with suggestions on bed placement etc and gave me his cell number and email for questions. I never felt pressured to buy anything. Any suggestions he made he always asked my budget and mentioned that these pieces are timeless and I don’t have to get the entire set at once. He even answered questions about the color of flooring I was having installed and helped me pick out a paint color. They had no qualms about holding my furniture after arrival for my renovation to finish. The level of service that I received before during and after my purchase was unprecedented. I can never shop anywhere else now.

Marty has been great to work with. He has guided us through the purchase of a kitchen set, dining room set and outdoor table set. He has been such a great person to work with - always answering all of our questions, providing recommendations and options when we aren't quite sure what we are looking for. We are so happy with all of our purchases and it is all thanks to him!

We had the good fortune to work with Marty from the Danbury CT. Store. We were interested in replacing some chairs and a rug. Marty guided us, very patiently, with fabrics and style. He offered us many options. We were so pleased with the choices we made. The furniture arrived much sooner than we expected. One chair had a slight loose thread. Marty contacted the repair department and they were at our house to fix it promptly. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Marty and Ethan Allen.
