About Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center
The Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center is dedicated to preserving the cultural influences and historical contributions of the Irish people in the Danbury area. Centered by the motto “Tradition, Pride, Friendship and Community,” it is a place where Irish language, music and dance can be taught to young and old alike. Visitors feel welcome from the moment they walk in. The clubhouse has two large rooms: a front room with a large bar and a back room for meetings and gatherings. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The band plays traditional Irish music, and everyone sings and claps. It is a lovely family-centered environment with something for everyone, including karaoke nights every other Friday. The owners are fantastic and warm welcoming, as is everyone. A must try!

Our first time visiting. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The band played traditional Irish music and everyone (I mean everyone) sang and clapped to every song. I don’t recall ever seeing so many happy people in one place, enjoying a culture and each other’s company. We will definitely come back.

Very cool vibe, friendliest staff, beer is fantastic, and music is incredible.
