We recently had our wedding nearby Danbury and needed a place for our guests to spend the night. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, and we had no issues. But the highlight of our experience was Monique. She was with us every step of the way in coordinating everything, and was extremely responsive. She took what could have been a stressful experience and made it something easy and fun. Thank you again Monique!

Maybe one of the cleanest Hampton Inns I’ve ever stayed at. Staff was incredible and very friendly. Breakfast was also good and had a large variety of options to pick from. I don’t know when I’d be in the area again, but if I am I will definitely stay again!

I chose this hotel as it is on my way home when I’m in a business trip.I like the location, a lot of restaurants and stores, a bunch of gas stations.BUT:Issue #1: Last time I forgot my AirPods there, for some reason I was sure hotel will return it or any other thing I might forget. However, AirPods disappeared (at that point I was not sure whether I forgot them in the hotel or lost somewhere else, or even it is somewhere in my car). After 2 weeks it appeared in a particular location in Danbury. And after some time in the Hotel!!! So I assume room service just simply stole it and let it lay down for some time. After my call to the hotel when AirPods location was in the hotel they found it, and sent it back to me, charging $20 for the shipment ))) nice, first stole, then charge for shipment )))Issue #2: I am usually leaving the hotel at 4am. And every time the coffee dispensers do not exist there. For fun I am asking at the reception when I am checking in will the coffee be available at 4am and every time I am getting “yes”. But looks like something is not working )))Issue #3: Hotel charged me twice once. They refund me rapidly, but only after I registered a case with the support. So after all to conclude watch your stuff, check your credit card, don’t rely on coffee dispensers early morning and everything will be great.I have multiple options where to stay - so I won’t be here anymore.Nearby activities: Restaurants, stores, Walmart, Marshall’s, etcSafety: Safe to stay and outside, if you forget something in the hotel you might lose it.Walkability: You can walk across many stuff around like supermarket, liquor store, and other stores.Food & drinks: A lot aroundNoteworthy details: Check my general comment.

My stay at Hilton Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the staff's professionalism and warmth set the tone for a fantastic experience. The rooms were not only immaculate but also thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style. The attention to detail in Hilton Hotel's service is truly commendable. Every request was met with efficiency, and the staff went out of their way to ensure my stay was memorable. The amenities provided, from the well-equipped fitness center to the inviting lobby, contributed to the overall sense of luxury.Breakfast at Hilton was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant delivered a diverse menu with delectable options, and the breakfast spread was a highlight. The commitment to cleanliness and safety protocols also gave me peace of mind throughout my stay.In summary, Hilton Hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend Hilton for a five-star experience that combines comfort, excellent service, and a touch of luxury.

The hotel was great. Breakfast was included and it was pretty decent. Quiet location and close to a Walmart and a few other stores and restaurants. For the city it’s located in, it’s got decent placement. Not in the so-called “downtown” area (which technically doesn’t even exist), but close enough to places you can get essentials.Walkability: Best way to traverse through the city, is by car. They do have public transportation but it won’t go everywhere. So best bet is a car.

Rolled up to this place at 1AM exhausted, having just booked a room.I arrive to a massive wedding party, which was disruptive through nearly 2AM. People just roaming the hallway drunk, talking loudly.Staff was complacent. When I mentioned it at checkout when I came up to themreinventorying the entire party's door keys (at least 30 keys), they didn't even acknowledge mymentioning the noise pollution. Will not stop again.Safety: My wife was afraid to leave the car alone after I carried our son in, due to the quantity of drunk people in the parking lot hanging around our car.

For the last two years when we travelled across the country, my wife and I have stayed at Hampton Inns. Our first stay was last May when we inadvertently hit a deer on route 80 on our second day of driving from NY to CA. We had never stayed at a Hampton Inn before but I saw one from the car repair shop we brought our car to. We ended up staying six nights at a Hampton Inn in Akron, OH. After that we changed our travel plans and stayed at Hampton Inns for the rest of our journey west. We also stayed at Hampton Inns on our return trip.We also travel with our beloved Black Lab, Greta. Most of the Hampton Inns are pet-friendly and had grounds which were conducive to pets. Greta seemed to enjoy each room, as we did, since they are set up in a similar manner. The Hampton Inns are all are pretty comfortable. What set them apart from each other are the personnel and the morning breakfast. The biggest change from our 2022 trip is a policy change that must have occurred in the last year. Most of the Hampton Inns now have soap dispensers next to the bathroom sink (body wash) and in the showers (body wash, shampoo and conditioner). Unfortunately each hotel must have had a different policy: some had no soap bars, some had one and some had two. Of the 17 Hampton Inns we stayed at only one didn’t have the dispensers. I did not like using the squeeze bottles in the shower; I prefer a bar of soap. The policy needs to be consistent and at least one soap bar should be provided. It was nice to have both soap bars in addition to the dispensers at the Hampton Inn Danbury!!Since I am rating each hotel, I will rate these specific criteria (5- best/1- worse):• Front Desk/Check-in: 5• Room Cleanliness: 5• Appropriate Pet Area: 5• Morning Breakfast: 5

We reserved a hotel block for our wedding at the Hampton Inn and had a great experience! The hotel itself is a little bit dated, but the service was great.Monique was extremely helpful - she set up the block for us, sent lists periodically of who booked a room, and honored the discounted rate for one of our guests who accidentally booked outside of the block.Once we arrived, everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly to us and all of our guests. They let us post a sign in the lobby with shuttle info, handed out welcome bags to our guests, and even let us use the fridge to store our wedding cake!Highly recommend staying here if you need a hotel in the Danbury area!

I'm shocked to see so many 4/5 or 5/5 reviews for this hotel. The hotel rooms are extremely outdated. Walls are paper thin - I heard every noise possible, even the zipping of bags I could hear. There were very obvious white stains on the curtains. The air conditioner control was not accurate. My husband found blood spots on the bed on the last night - disgusting. To make matters worse, then the fire alarm went off at 4am. This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. Paid WAY too much for this stay and we got a "special" rate apparently for a wedding.

My 4 yr old Dog needed emergency care at Guardian in Brewster. For two nights I stayed at this hotel and I love Hampton Inn This one in Danbury was wonderful, clean, friendly and breakfast wonderful!! Thank you. My dog, McDougal is going to be fine. Resistant bacteria gone but damage to eye and muscle had me very worried. He’s dented in head and blind in one eye caused from stick that poked a hole in roof of mouth where bacteria entered. I’m so grateful to Guardian and the drs there.
