I went to Joseph A. Banks in Danbury CT with my son to find a suit for a wedding we were attending. We had an excellent experience from start to finish! Jimmy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help us find the perfect fit and style. The store was very well organized, which made it easy and enjoyable to shop. The whole staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this store.

I visited this location in person to purchase a suit. The associate who helped me was very friendly and assisted me in finding a suit that fit my needs. However, the pants were quite baggy and too long. He mentioned they could tailor them in-house for an additional fee, which I agreed to. I specifically asked if the alterations could be completed by Friday morning, as my event was on Saturday, and was assured they could.
When I arrived Friday afternoon to pick up my suit, I was told it hadn’t even been touched. The excuse given was that the tailor had called in sick, and I was simply offered a refund for the tailoring — which I found completely unacceptable. The employee then advised me to go to Men’s Wearhouse, explaining they’re the same company, and that their tailor could complete it in 30 minutes.
I had to drive over there with my suit unprotected (no garment bag was provided). Upon arrival, the tailor told me it would actually take an hour. When I returned an hour and a half later, the suit still wasn’t done properly. The tailor explained that he wasn’t the one who took the measurements and was only doing it as a favor.
In the end, I left with an unfinished suit that didn’t fit the way I wanted — and once again, without any suit protection, which is especially disappointing given it’s a light tan suit. To make matters worse, I was charged a premium price for tailoring that was never properly completed, and now I’ll have to take it elsewhere to get it fixed.

My daughters wedding party all used Jos A Bank, we ordered my husband's suit today in Danbury and it couldn't have been any easier! Jimmy was wonderful! He was very helpful , courteous and patient! He made wonderful suggestions. Thank you so much Jimmy! Not to mention the store was immaculate and very organized!

My dad, my future brother in-law, and I all set up an appointment at the Danbury location to be measured for tuxedos for my sister’s wedding and Paola provided excellent customer service. She displayed professionalism and was very thorough throughout the whole process. She made sure everyone had the correct sizes. Highly recommend working with her, as she was very helpful and knowledgeable.
