Sold me an opened box with no screws for the tv mount. Flooring order was delayed with no notice, so wasted a trip over as well.

In my opinion they have some employees that need to be fired. They are rude and lazy.

Went in today with my wife today around 10am. The cashier we delt with was extremely rude to the Veteran infront of us and it carried right over to us. He made a comment I responded. I don't usually write reviews but there's no need to be disrespectful to our military members!!!

I ordered a home generator via Lowes website, which was dropped by delivery people from truck to ground. After multiple calls to Lowes Danbury, I was finally able to get the unopened generator box picked up for a refund as a possibly compromised product, but the $85 delivery fee was excluded from the refund. Lowes service dept says that because a 3rd party did the delivery they have no way of refunding the delivery fee. Lowes is not able to apply the fee as credit to a second generator purchase because there is no visible damage. In-person purchases at the store have been fine, but I do not recommend Lowes for ecommerce due to the multiple delays and failures in customer service. Buy elsewhere, the online discounts is not worth your time or the aggravation. Everyone I spoke to tries to be helpful, but their individual efforts do not outweigh the negative customer experience (Note based on the below comment from Lowes, I talked to Lowes Customer service again. They confirmed delivery fees are not refundable when done by a third party. So no generator, no successful delivery, substantial delivery fee paid, and a lot of time spent getting acquainted with Lowes customer service team.)

I ordered 3 boxes of backsplash tile in store on Sunday. I just got a phone call saying they delivered the tile to the Danbury store and I can either go pick it up there or I can take the box and a half they have at the store. I don’t need a box and a half, I need 3 boxes and I’m damn well not driving 45 min each way when I’m down the street from derby. I asked to have it transferred to the derby Lowe’s and they said they can’t because it’s a low quantity. So my options are drive to Danbury, or reorder and repay for the same 2 boxes but they’ll have to charge me a restocking fee for the previous order.

Needed 4 bricks. Clerk in the front was very friendly, and helpful as there was no barcode.

Nothing was where it was listed to be online. Nobody around to ask for help. Spent an hour walking back and forth hunting for what I needed with no employees on the floor. Total letdown.

This review reflects my recent purchase of a washer and dryer to be delivered and installed. First delivery attempt sent the wrong item. Second delivery was a no show. This was exacerbated as it was to a house for which I had to drive two hours each way to. Full story: on day of order in store, an associate made sure it was in stock in the back and delivery was scheduled. Third party delivery arrived 30mins ahead of the window at the house that I’m developing and was provided with the wrong item. Called store and new delivery date was set and I was assured that the items will still be available and locked for my order. Confirmed with the store the day of second delivery attempt and was provided window of delivery. Drove two hours to wait the entire delivery window to only find it to be rescheduled as the item was out of stock. No notification. All info required lengthy pursuit and follow up. Sheer level of incompetence is incredible. Not worth the time to deal with Lowe’s unless you are picking up directly. Unsympathetic customer service only offers return or waiving of delivery fee. Should have gone with Best Buy across the parking lot.

Home Depot is going to lose my business to Lowe's. As Home Depot's inventory shrinks, Lowe's increases. The employees at Lowe's are always available. Home Depot has great employees, when you can find them. That can be a half hour endeavor.
